This morning's Line 6 Ideas email had a great suggestion!

The idea is to keep cab block parameters while changing cab blocks. 

I voted it up and added to it.

Absolutely... it gets so annoying when you are flipping through a few cabs to test them in a preset and you have to keep re-entering parameters over and over.

@Drybonz yup! It could work for lots of Block types. I'm sure Line 6 would think this through thoroughly before they set out to actually code it for a new feature enhancement. If you've got specific ideas and thoughts, the best place to present them to Line 6 is in the Idea Scale thread. That's where Line 6 pays attention to the votes and input! If you have other Helix Users also spread the word to them to vote it up and submit their thoughts.

Blue Cat Audio's Re-Guitar has a little lock symbol for their acoustic guitar emulations so you can keep the same basic settings when you try different acoustic guitar models. Seems like the same idea would work here.
