is there new stuff in the Factory 1 & 2 that I have missed out on ?

hi there, downloaded the 3.8 firmware, restored to factory settings and restored from the back ups, all good. question: I only noticed now that I should have not restored the Factory 1 & 2 from the back ups. is there new stuff in the Factory 1 & 2 that I have missed out on ? should I do it all again, this time not restoring Factory 1 & 2 from the back ups ?

Yes. You also need to update HX Edit.

yes i did update the hx edit

the new amps are in there

According to the Release Notes, regarding any new factory presets.

OPTIONAL: Performing a factory reset loads the new 3.80 Factory Presets, but restoring from your backup will overwrite these. Spend some time exploring these and export the factory presets you want to keep (or drag them to your desktop). If you have unused setlists in Helix Floor/Rack/LT, you can also export the entire FACTORY 1 bundle for loading into an unused setlist later

 

Remember- Always work on a copy!
