rgrodgon
Hi everyone, I'm trying to recover a Line 6 POD HD500 with a corrupted USB firmware. The USB firmware version shows as V0.00 in the system menu, and the unit no longer communicates correctly with Line 6 software. The main DSP firmware (2.62) is fine, but USB is broken. I suspect the EEPROM 24LC256 is corrupted. I will have access to a CH341A programmer and would like to reflash the EEPROM manually. Does anyone have a working EEPROM dump from a functional POD HD500 or the .iic file used to flash the USB firmware? Thanks in advance — this could really help bring this unit back to life! pianoguyy
Those are some big tech words. But, L6 does offer a "download" section. Perhaps that may help.

sweetpete
Did you get your problem resolved? Not 100% sure about your HD500, but on my Pod HD Pro X, the USB firmware shows 0.00 UNTIL I connect to the unit with either Line 6 Central app or Pod HD Pro X Edit. It then shows v1.04, which is the last version for my unit. BTW, I just got a new Win 11 laptop. I went to the Line 6 download area, downloaded and installed the latest/last Pod HD Pro X Edit w/USB drivers, and everything works perfectly.
