neonjohn
Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I load tracks into a new song, put in cues for Snapshot changes, set levels in the Matrix Mixer, etc, and everything works and sounds great. Really great! Then I step aside for a bit, come back, and the song still runs but no audio from the song tracks appear on the mixer. The song window shows the song playing, and my guitar and the mic are still there, but nothing on the song tracks. Also, the names I gave the Mixer channels are back to Track 1, Track 2. Restarting doesn't restore it. This happened once before, and playing with solo buttons eventually made it magically reappear. Not so this second time. Anyone having a similar issue? richmeliski
I'm having the same issue. Song loaded into showcase worked fine yesterday. Today, audio files still show on screen, playhead moves... no audio.
kevinsmyth
Yes same here - has been driving me mad, can visually see the track playing but it doesnt appear to be routing to the speakers
Bigger_E
Yep, I'm experiencing the exact same problem. Also, I know that the signal path is working because I'm able to get the click track/metronome output to the external amp, but the music does not come through. The only thing I'm doing is turning off the Helix after a day of practice and the next morning, the bug presents itself and I'm unable to hear the Showcase track. I'm running the current 1.2 release. Ajuvix
I'm having this same issue. When putting the songs onto the board with the pc software, I renamed the track there first and then transferred, which helped with the name reverting back to track 1 problem. The problem is when I turn it off and the next time I turn it on, the audio from the songs won't play or show up as present on the headphone out mixing screen, but the audio is still stored on the board, because the audio still shows up on the screen, but doesn't play the audio at all. I wasn't sure if the flags disappearing was from my error in not saving it properly before closing down, but seeing that this is a serious issue, I'm not so sure its me that's the problem. It worked fine until I turn it off and the audio and flags are just gone afterwards, with the flags completely absent from the monitor screen and the audio visible, but not playing. Also, I don't think the snapshots are saving individual set parameters from the pedal settings, just the on/off states for each effect pedal slot. For example, if I set one snapshot to have 70's chorus with a heavy effect and another snapshot with that same 70s chorus with a lighter effect, it doesn't save that change, it just leaves the setting on wherever I left it last for both snapshots. I can't imagine this is by design, as my much less expensive Headrush Flex Prime pedal can easily do this. Otherwise, the Showcase feature is truly amazing. The first time I ran through a song, my muscle memory was so hard wired it felt wrong and strange to not hit a pedal to change my sound. To trust the machine seemed a bizarre leap of faith, but by the end of the song I realized how much easier it is to play and not have to focus on my foot too. Adjusting in/out levels on the fly is a breeze too. I know they released this feature early, so I'm glad to finally see it, but I probably won't mess with it again until this is patched up. therickyates
I'm experiencing a similar problem. Tracks loaded show as playing and everything else works, but no audio from the track shows in the mixer or is output to headphones (or other outputs). Unfortunately nothing I've tried including playing with solo/mute/reboot has fixed it (yet).
dandesy
Yes! Btw, you need to save the song on helix in order for your fists and all to be preserved. But regardless, I set it up and it was great! Then after turning off the helix, I get no sound from my song.

drexell
Got showcase update and haven’t even got that far. WAV files show up as whole song and not broke up into individual tracks to edit. Online manual says files are editable from either computer app or after transferring. Success with transfer but not able to edit.

WAV files show up as whole song and not broke up into individual tracks to edit. Online manual says files are editable from either computer app or after transferring. Success with transfer but not able to edit. When transferring WAV files from the Stadium app to the device, each WAV file becomes one track in the Song. You can transfer up to 8 WAV files at a time, meaning up to 8 tracks in a Song. If you transfer a single file you get a Song with a single track. The tracks are not editable after transferring in either the app or the device, at least not in the same way they can be edited in, say, a DAW. You have minimal editing capabilities on the device, and none in the app. For instance, you can rename tracks, or move tracks up/down to reorder them. But you can’t, for instance, create split points to create an audio gap by deleting between split points, or to create two new tracks by splitting/dragging audio clips into a different track. You need to do that sort of editing on your computer before transferring the WAV files. You might be able to drag a track to reposition the audio in the Song, for instance if one the WAV files should only be heard in the Chorus; I haven’t tried that. dandesy
The issue was confirmed and reproduced by line 6 support. fingers crossed!
dandesy
So even though this is an issue that they will fix, there might be a workaround. The support guy told me that doing a full reset and deleting and reloading the tracks. could help (he tried it himself). I did. And so far it has survived multiple off and on trip. We’ll see how long it lasts, but it’s a huge improvement.
therickyates
Nice one! Probably a silly question but figured I'd ask anyway....When you say full reset, do that mean factory reset and therefore you need to backup/re-import all user patches too? dandesy
Yes. That’s what I did: backup factory reset restore backup delete songs reimport kind of a pain but it’s still working for me! 1
