looking through the online manual for the Stadium XL, it doesn't look like it currently supports global midi commands for the footswitch emulation like the original helix.  Are there plans for adding support for footswitch emulation via MIDI?

I have never received a response to any of my feature requests, and I never expected that I would. I know the collection of requests is reviewed periodically and the most popular and feasible ones are considered for implementation. But it’s not a concierge service.

btw…. the product feedback area (your link above) is for making requests for new features. To report a bug you should open a support ticket. Those are replied to.

I sent several emails to Yamaha support (https://line6.com/company/contact/productfeedback/) about various bugs, but I didn't receive any feedback

Create a support ticket in your Line 6 account for an error message.
