Problems with Showcase

Hi guys!

I recently got myself a Stadium Floor - mainly because I wanted to uitlize Showcase.

Now here comes the problem: I just can't upload tracks via the Windows app. 

No matter which of the supported formats I'm trying to use (all in 48kHz@24bit) the app does not accept the files I'm trying to upload.

 

Steps I've taken:

- reformatted the stock SD-Card multiple times

- changed the SD-Card for SanDisk one, multiple reformats

- multiple Factory Resets

- trying to run the App as Admin

 

I'm desperately trying to make this work, because Showcase was the reason I chose the Stadium in the first place and without Showcase the unit is a very expensive paperweight for me. 

 

Anyone experienced this issue?

For the records: App version is 1.3.3, unit is on 1.3.2

Are you sure the files are in WAV format? That’s the only format accepted.

@Kryz87 Since I don't have all your connection details I may be repeating what you've already done. 

 

I had to use a USB-C to USB-C cable connector from workstation to Helix Stadium XL.  I exported my stem files using 44.1 kHz 32 bit for the audio rate and size.  Except for the learning curve of specifics on how to consistently order the files and flags the wav files imported perfectly.  The Stadium does the conversion to the rate(s) it wants anyway.  I know my rates may not be norm but that is what I found and the sound quality was actually pretty good.

Not sure if relevant here, but I recently discovered that Stadium won't accept WAV files with names that include special characters - once removed, they were accepted fine.  In my particular case I had parenthesis in the title, e.g., "Music (no vocals).WAV" -> once I renamed to "Music no vocals.WAV" it uploaded no problem.  File name constraints aren't listed as a limitation in the online manual, but in my case seem to be one.

Did you check the following prequisites:

 

• WAV (.wav), AIFF (.aif), FLAC (.flac), or OGG Vorbis (.ogg)

• Maximum length of 13 minutes play time

• Sample Rate of 44.1, 48, 88.2, or 96kHz

• Bit rate of 16, 24, or 32-bit

• Mono or stereo

For me it works fine and reliable using WLAN, as far as I recall I have tried with USB first but for some reason I changed to WLAN. Maybe I have experienced issues with USB but I cant't remember. BTW: Helix (PC-APP) expects WAV format, other formats are not accepted.
