  1. I got a Pod HD300 and I have been really happy with it for like 2 months , a short while back , I downloaded some custom tones and when I was opening the in pod edit it suddenly stopped working , when I reopened it , It wouldnt recognize my HD300 anymore , all the other programs recognize my Pod , I even recorded some EP tracks with it , its just Pod edit now for additional information : I tried fixing it using monkey and I ran into something really weird line 6 monkey doesnt recognize my Flashdrive firmware (but its there in my pod ) and it wont let me reinstall it ! I might take a screenshot for additional info the question is : how do I fix this and get the pod edit to recognize my device again?

    Please Help! Tone Quality Problems!

I used to have the same problem with my HD300 , the tones were full of hum , the sound was bassy and the quality was crap , everything changed when I updated my firmware flash drive , but make sure that u have a back up bundle because when u update the firmware , u will lose all ur factory presets

    Help, Volume Lowering Sunddenly

If u re-install firmware u might get a different tone so Its good to use pod edit , click on file->save bundle , this will save ur patches but while ur at it , yeah I was talking about ur Amp volume on ur HD500 , in the Amp section of pod edit its indicated as CH VOL lower it a little , this should solve ur problem ;)

    Help, Volume Lowering Sunddenly

I'll quote what i told the other guy with the same problem: " I used to have this problem specially when I palm muted 1-first I have to recommend u to update ur pod hd300 flash memory firmware to version 2 , if it is already re-install it , wont hurt 2-2nd What ur experiencing might be the act of The pod hd300 sound normalizer , which means ur channel is too loud and it reduces the volume to prevent amp overloads , so the solution is decreasing ur channel volume and increasing the overall (output) volume from the back of ur HD300 , this way u can both have a loud and un-normalized sound which is cool right sorry for being so thorough but I wanted to explain completely so u could solve ur problem without any trouble if possible so what u have to do is : before anything update ur firmware , then if it didnt work lower the channel volume"

  8. I have downloaded some cool tones that people used and I was impressed pod hd300 can make such awesome tones , so when i got mine and I used their presets they sounded entirely different , the sounds are overly bassed and the palm mutes are either too loud or inaudible either way its problematic , I first thought The diffrence was due to my pickup difference but when I used The same equipment as the other guy did I found out the problem presists I am now thinking some of my hardware settings are messed up I want my HD300 to sound like theirs , please HELP! I have downloaded the tone from this youtube link : and you all can see how cool it sounds and this is my sound : https://www.dropbox.com/s/ht9nkszxdww0le3/riffs%20mesa%20boogie1.mp3 as you can see its nothing like that at all , please help
