wow so i can run it thru my dt25 amp like i do with the hd500x? and it can use different power amps in the dt25? If so will the editor for the helix show the dt25 power amp configs to change? thanx

my used $350 hd500x will have to do for now...thru my dt25....

wow..too steep for me too...I am sure it will be nice...competes with the axe products and kemper....i could sell a bunch of stuff to fund it but dont want to ride that train anymore..if was was around $799 i would consider it if i tried it first and it was amazing compared to what i use now...

thank you...my main thing was the amount of tweaking i spent with it...But i did get some really good tones..and with the new firmware/amp models maybe it would be worth it to find a 500x used and dive it another go?

had a pod hd500 and was tired of the dsp error full...sold it but still have my dt25...should i look for a used hd500x? or just sell my dt25?....i am on the fence.....i will lose my butt on selling the dt25( i bought new a few years ago_..)...should i give it another go but this time with a 500x? and the new amp pacls

on a side note.....i still have my line 6 spidervalve mk2 so i am not without line6:) ;) ...that amp rocks...so its kina like my pod hd inside a tube amp...so i still have that bit of line6 in me...

i just dont use it enough and sold my hd500 so i am selling this amp..if you r local to colorado and need one let me know...otherwise its on ebay ..sorry but maybe 2016 will be a line6 yr for me again. maybe 10 hrs on it if that..latest firmware. hsuru4u at yahoo.com

i see....i knoe i hate to lose my arse on the sale of the dt25...and if on ebay..then the shipping will be alot because of the weight....maybe i will just find a used 500x and begin again....where r those patches of the 500 and the dt25

yes i am on the fence.....i sold the pod hd500.....wish line6 did an editor for the dt25..it wouldntr be that hard....i know there is dtedit here from a user but i heard you cannot change the preamps in the dt25 so easily....i find that in the dt25 the gain on the non high gain amps is rather low..even when cranked up to 10....i may have to actually work with it more i guess...i know selling it i will lose my butt

sold my hd500 awhile ago and still have my dt 25....i am thinking of either getting a used pod hd500x or selling the dt25 and getting a blackstar id260 amp....what do you think?

I sold my hd500 a while ago...been on the fence about getting a used hd500x and using with my dt25..or selling the dt25 and just getting an id260 amp...I have other tube amps i use like egnater tweeker40 and a nightrain...i had gotten the dt25 for use with the hd500 and it was very interesting but i am wondering if i should go back and start again with the pod hd500x or move on and sell my dt25.....while the dt25 is a good amp on its own i prefer the tweaker..tube to tube amp...I do not play metal..just bluesy/classic rock stuff and not in a bacd...just play at home...I liked the podhd500 but it always seemed fatiguing to my ears and the overdriven amps were kind of 1 dimensional...maybe i need to work harder with them again or maybe i need to move on?????thanx for any ideas or advice....I am looking for real honest opinions..nothing will be perfect and the pod is not crap at all...its just alot of tweaking....thanx

ok thank you...why didnt line 6 create an editor for the dt25 to get in there and change the avaliable amps after the newest upgrade that adds like alot more amps and reverbs.? thanx

i still use my vg-99( and have the vg-8ex) they are a different beast altogether...the synth type sounds and nylon string/acoustic guitars are really convincing and the effects in the vg99 are very cool...i also use the pod hd500 and dt25 and love the tones..the dt25 alone is sweet as well...and i use a l6 spidervalve mk2 2-12 that is an amazing amp as well....the editors are really wonderful from line 6.

if you hook up the hd500 to the dt25 can you change the parameters of the dt25 amps?

thank you...so when the pod500 is disconnected as you said in the previous post..i still wonder how you know what amps are playing on the dt?...I guess you are saying you can set the 4 per chanel...one for each of the 4 topology switches...x 2 channels+ 8?

so... if you have a hd500 you can use it to acess the topology amps of the dt25 and change them? or how would you do it?...after the latest update to the dt25 all 30 amps are in the dt25..right? its just how to put them in the presets on the dt25 and then how to te;ll which ampp you r playing??? confused

I have a dt25... and a pod hd500. I have them both updated to latest updates...How do i access the extra amps in the dt25 topology... do i need a computer and editor for the dt? and if i do after the pc is disconnected how do u acess the other topology amps ion the dt????
