  1. Hello guys. I do not use USB recording so often, but when I tried yesterday Everything hooked up perfectly and Windows 7 recognized everything. All set! I used the software Audacity, whiuch is very simple to use just to be able to 'hear' the sound coming from Helix. But there was the problem: If I pickd a string, I didnot hear it immediately ... just about 0.5sec later, which is really disturbing! Anyway, anyone here had similar issue? Any tip is highly welcome! Cheers Leo
  2. Yeap, that's what I was thinking... I will try to unassign everything and then assign the volume block to turn ON/OFF the shimmer path...hoping that it works! Thanks for the comment!
  3. Hello guys. I was playing always with backing tracks and didnot realize that until I played only using helix. I will give you my signal path: 1A: MultiGuitarInput ---> Drive---> Essex30--->EQ---->Loop1(Korg A2)--->Reverb------------>Output 1B: ----->MultDly4----->EQ--->Reverb (Octo)-->Output *After the EQ block (after the amp) the signal is split to path 1B, into MultiDly. The Patch 1B is all assigned to one footswitch labeled "shimmer". I start playing with this path 1B turned off. When I turn it on, works great, really smooth shimmer - really beautiful. But the problem is when I turn this path off. When I press the footswitch to turn off the path 1B, I get a really loud peak of sound. Yesterday I tried to use a volume pedal block to play with 100% and 0%, thinking that maybe I got that loud peak because of the blocks being disabled and the signal going through directly to the output. Anyway, tested but still getting this loud peak sound when turning the path off. Does anyone have an idea of what it can be? I will post a video showing this problem. Any help/tip is welcome! Tks! Cheers! Leo
  4. Just to clarify - you have programmed a footswitch to send off the MIDI command. Now when you use the footswitch, the display shifts to the command centre (instead of staying on the home screen)? - YES, exactly that! I am running 1.10v. But this happens with most of the patches I created, but not to all. I must've missed something when setting the MIDI messages....
  5. Th delays sound good in Helix, but could be better. I use Korg A2 for delays, since I think they sound 'clear-er'. The modulation inside delays in Helix is a bit disappoint to me. That's why I keep using Korg A2 for delays when playing some of the U2 songs which you need really defined delays sounds. But for other stuff, it's more than enough!
  6. I will try that later. I have another doubt: when I am in the preset screen, when I call the preset using a footswitch (example preset 75 from Korg A2), the screen goes to the Command Center. Is it correct to work this way? Then If I want to go back to the preset screen, I have to press the HOME button. Not a real problem, but an annoying one! THe MIDI channels are set correctly. But thanks for the remind.
  7. Guys, maybe someone here can help me with this 'problem'. is there a way to configure a switch to send 2 different PC messages to MIDI devices? For example, I use Eventide H9 and Korg A2 in Helix' loops, and for a certain preset I need to recall preset number 75 from Korg A2 and 11 from Eventide. I just could set one individual switch for each device. Is there a way to put all together? thanks in advance! Leo
