  1. Unless you require absolutely new, it's worth periodically checking the Emporium on The Gear Page. I've seen a half-dozen or so flip in the last few weeks. http://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?search/4755897/&q=helix&o=date&c[node]=77 And it's how I scored mine. :)
  2. Yea, true. I was mostly wanting it for the scribble strips, though.
  3. If I choose the A/B splitter and assign it to a footswitch, "A/B" shows up in the scribble strip, so the character is already there. It's just not available to the user. If the microcode is Linux-based, it should have no problems dealing with the slash. I mean, it's not Windows or Mac. ;)
  4. Small niggle. The character set for naming patches and scribble strips is missing the slash, as in A/B.
  5. How does that not equate to removed? It was the single-most complained about change between the 10 and the 100.
  6. Boss GT-10 did. It was removed in the GT-100.
  7. Looks like I had some pilot error and this is already a thing. DI straightened me out. Here are his instructions: If you assign the Split > A/B's Route To parameter to a footswitch, it does: 1. Press and hold Knob 1 (Route To) to jump to the Controller Assign page for that parameter. 2. Press Knob 6 (Learn Controller) and then press the desired Stomp mode footswitch. The switch now toggles between A and B. You can adjust the Min and Max values to toggle different blends, but by default, it's completely A or completely B.
  8. The splitter needs a true A/B function, as in A or B. This will enable simpler channel management. http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/True-A-B-splitter/794705-23508
