I'm using the simplest setup I can imagine to test the balance. Two combos, one on "A" path the other on "B" path. each panned hard, all model settings are the same. No dice; the image is unbalance, favoring the left side. All the presets that are imaged for stereo, of which there are no "stereo rig" models that I can find, are well balanced. Any thoughts?

Wouldn't a single amp and two cabs take three blocks instead of just two that a dual combo setup would utilize?

Apparent;y there is a "like limit" so I'll just say thanks to everyone. I feel like I've got a good foundation to start mucking about with IRs when the time comes. I especially like the idea of being able to customize them.

I used Toontrack Superior libraries for my drums and I'm curious as to any company that produces IRs at the same quality level.

Thanks so much!

I guess I need to spend more time with PC editor. I've been trying to program it from the front face, not the PC editor, for the past couple of months and it is such a PITA that I've actually been considering selling it.

In the real world I use two clean Laney Cub 12s miced with two Sennheiser e906s for a stereo rig and would like to replicate their sound, as close as is reasonable, on the HX Stomp.
-
Just wondering what it might be like to add an HX Stomp to a pedalboard that already has an HX Effects.
-
I want t get an idea if the HX Stomp can fit in the pedalboard position that my M5 currently occupies or if I would have to reconfigure.

Just finished wiring everything in except the two Boomerangs, expression pedals, and Behringer FCB1010. I needed to call it a day and decided to close the day out with a little ditty. For the purpose of this test, a single two bar guitar loop is prerecorded into the Wally then slowed as far down as the Wally will allow from dead center. I slowly raise the loop speed up to normal and the guitar loop plays back at regular speed until the end when it's slowed back down before the fade out. The "ambiance" is nothing more than the wet side of the guitar loop, highly effected. It was recorded on a Tascam DP-008EX using it's built in mics and quite frankly I didn't go to any great lengths, none at all really , to optimize any fidelity; the low level digital clipping is quite obvious, not so low level toward the end, and the mics picked up my switching. The Tascam does much better, as do I, with a bit more effort.

It won't help now but insurance would be a good idea starting now.
