  1. What is the present Firmware version? I ask because HD might not see anything prior to v2.00 Firmware.
  2. BucF16,... As lucky as you've been, you should have those JJ's swamped out for the specified tubes by an authorized L6 service center who knows these amps. Specified tubes, bias, and there's a bias and burn-in procedure for for the service tech, that goes beyond what other L6 tube amps require. Best to get it done right by the right techs. - Dark-Star (used to be psarkissian@line6.com)
  3. No updates as it is long past Legacy product (15+ years old).
  4. Standard is a post 2.0 guitar, never had pre HD as part of its firmware. Like trying speak modern language to a great-great grandparent,... half of what is said doesn't translate. Dark-Star (formerly psarkissian)
  5. psarkissian,... I'm still here on the Forums, just not at YGG/Line 6 anymore.
  6. Since I'm no longer at Line 6, my psarkissian no longer works. Use Dark-Star,... it's a physics thing, in case anyone out there asks. Spider Valve MkII? Check https://line6.com/find/service_center/ I don't see "Instrumental Music in Thousand Oaks" on the list anymore,.... bummer. Good place, good people. The closest to you would be Audio repair Specialists. Audio Repair Specialists 818-346-3762 info@arsrepair.com 22520 Ventura Blvd. Woodland Hills, CA 91364
  7. Yes,... if running locally on your desktop, as the Line 6 servers are no longer connected for the more legacy software. Been like that more and more since Apple and Microsoft left 32 bit processing for 64 bit running system OS's. I've had success connecting to legacy apps and firmware and running them on Mac 10.6.8 OS. Not certain what the equivalent PC OS is.
  8. I knew you had changed your username here but I did not know you had left L6/YGG. Hope you’re doing well. I always appreciated your in-depth knowledge and experience with the Variax product line, and it was a pleasure to meet you in Calabasas. That was years ago now! How time flies.

Doing okay. Still doing my art, science and technology thing. Good to see you are still out there. Still doing L6 tech work up there in Ontari-ari-o (learned that one from Dayna Manning of the band Trent Severn, talented ladies)???

  9. Thanks silverhead, been a while. BTW, I used to be psarkissian. Keep up the good work.
  10. Check the downloads page for computer OS compatibility. You may need to use a computer with an earlier OS, or current OS with a Way back Machine software simulator. Original Workbench on the downloads page will have that info.
  11. Through Line 6 Central, not Updater! I don't think Updater will see Stadium,... at least it didn't at my L6 lab PC workstation. As I recall, it is designed to do that. Never tried it, and don't know what the final decision was. Never got to try a finished one before I left YGG/Line 6. Hope so.
  12. "I'm-a-wonder'in if the D10 interface when it gets released will do the same job as the interface ... ", NO. D10 designed to function with Stadium series floor effects. It is the interface for Stadium only.
  13. Can't connect Variax to Stadium without the D10. DON'T try to use the Nexus connector as a work around. Check with Customer Support and see they have a estimated release date for the D10.
  14. Thank you silverhead, Dark-Star (used to be psarkissian@line6).
  15. Cotton swab, alcohol, drip it onto the piezo/saddle, let it work its way in, then blow out with canned air. Repeat if needed. If it still persists, take it your nearest authorized service center and have them check further and deeper.
