  1. Thanks Tom.. Appreciate the response.
  2. Thanks Radatats. From what I understand, the POD can be versatile enough to be used with any of the combination you gave. I may just be too lazy to tweak it so that it will sound good with my Alto. To answer your question, I wanted to get the mesa 2x12 cab. The end goal is to have that real amp tone/feel. Can the magnum be used on a club gig? I have a very loud drummer. I also use a lot of cleans..
  3. Good to know that man...I'm also looking into the crate power block as I have somebody here selling it for half the price of the quilter. Any thoughts? :)
  4. Agree! It takes a lot of patience and time.. I'm still trying to figure it out.. Thanks for the insights!
  5. Has anyone here tried this? The tone block got some good reviews from a lot of players, I just didn't see anyone using the HD500 or I may have overlooked that topic. Either way, I hope someone in this forum can help me. I am also open to other suggestions as far as power amp is concerned. I just didn't feel the HD500 + Powered speaker (using Alto SXM112A) or Mixer direct route. For me it doesn't really sound like a guitar amp (again open for suggestions). Hoping to get inputs from everyone here.

    B3PO Patch

Hi, Is there a way to download only the B3PO factory patch in Custom Tone? I only want that patch and I don't want to go back to resetting the device back to factory settings just to get the tone (this is the only way I know). Thanks in advance! DO
  7. Hey man.. I have been using the Alto SXM112A and for me it's sounds good (using the hd500 and not the hd500x). I'm using studio/direct output, with full amp models on the HD500. I also used the Guitar 1 option on the Alto.. I was able to get that Marshall sound from that speaker..Not quiet the same as the original but for me it's impressive. You can also try the TS112.. You might want to check a youtube vid made my Mr. Charlez.. Oh, there is also one for the SXM, but the axe fx was used instead of the pod.. --->
  8. Thanks silverhead and BigChas52 for your help.
  9. Awesome! Thank you for the clarification. Can this work on a combo power amp mode and plugged into the power amp section of a real amp too?
  10. Thanks everyone for your replies... But there is something I would like to clarify.. I would assume that the above mentioned is in a scenario where you have 2 guitars to be used on the POD, right? My apologies for not being clear on that. The reason why I asked is to have our 2nd guitar player connect to the L3T. That is for us to have a very lightweight setup and to have good sound on our guitars and vocals (drums and bass got good speakers/amps so they're okay). Guitar amps on the clubs we are playing are crap. So, would it still be possible if he connects to the input 2 on the side panel mixer (with me on L6 link and the mic on input 1)? Or will it work by setting up a dual path and have the other guitar player plug his out to my aux and assign it as input 2 (both guitars via L6 link)? - not sure if I am making sense here.. :D By the way I am using two amps on my HD500, not sure if this affects the dual path you told me about. Again, thanks for your inputs.
  11. Hi Everyone, I would like to know if it's possible to connect the vocals (mic) and POD HD500 at the same time to the L3T. If yes, please advise me the best way to connect it. Second question, is it possible to connect 1 vocals and 2 guitars on the L3T? If yes, how should it be done? I'm thinking of getting the most portable setup possible for small sized club gigging.. Thanks in advance.
