Make sure you use decent monitors before you give up on it... It was underwhelming using the aux in on my JS-10...... Also, if you're playing acoustic or nylon strings, make sure you change them (mine hadn't been changed since 1948.) (I don't know about electric guitar, though....) :) That said, it now sounds fricken' gorgeous...

I have Pod Farm Platinum AND a Helix LT. And not much money left; hope Line 6 gives guys like me a break. (also have Pod x3, Pod XT, Pod GX, Guitar Port, etc..

All line 6 would have to do is release a template for FBV3 (and, hey, why not a template for Ableton Live). FWIW, all the individual element in Pod Farm expose their interfaces with correct names to Ableton Live in the Push 2 screen (with the exception of the Distortions, where the "knobs" appear just as "params" instead of Gain, Level, and Tone...) Hope this is carried over to Helix Native (I have a Push 2).

Add Performance/Snapshot Mode to Editor (with option to organize setlists in banks) I'm running the editor from a touchscreen laptop with the Helix LT some distance away, and I would really like a Performance mode (with a keyboard shortcut) to switch presets, either live from the laptop to adjust parameters remotely (via USB) or on the laptop where the remote is under the desk to save space in my apt. I'm sure this will be a feature in Native, but we need it in the Editor as well...

Maybe so, but it sure would be fun to try if one has the money (in which case sanity is irrelevant... :)

Just think of the Helix as a high maintenance woman, and ask yourself if your experience justifies the expense... (Well, ok, the Helix isn't all THAT expensive by comparison ... :) And as far as more than one is concerned....

I see the FBV3 controller has USB Midi. Can it be configured to control Pod Farm 2.5 (either standalone or in a DAW)? (Program changes, set lists, etc.) I know the MkII shortboard can, but I would prefer the FBV3, if it can be made to work. Is there a template for Pod Farm in the control editor? Thanks

I hope that owners of Helix LT AND Pod Farm Platinum (like me) will get a significant break... (Sheesh, my investment is at LEAST that of Helix considering all the other stuff I have from Line 6 as well (Pod XT, X3, GX, Guitar Port, Gearbox... :)

A couple of important, dumb questions: 1. Does the Helix Control work with Helix LT? 2. Will the Helix Control work with Helix Native? If not, will Line 6 make an equivalent that will?

What is the "Notify" parameter I see in the MIDI parameter list in Ableton Live when I open the "Configuration" window? Thanks

Does anyone know if Helix Control will work with Helix Native? (I too own Pod Farm Platinum, and also Pod XT...)

All I see is a 1/4", XLR, and USB(?) detachable power(?) cable. Does the receiver have to be plugged into AC for it to work - i.e., does the receiver have a chargeable battery as well as the transmitter, so the unit is completely portable?
