  1. Correct. No modeling changes. And there won’t likely be any further updates so you should be fine without the interface.
  2. JTV Firmware versions beyond v2.1 apply to the Standard and Shuriken models and will have no impact on the 59.
  3. Assign the Wah Bypass to a footswitch, not the heel down position.
  4. The Stadium manual can be found under the Support link at the top of this page. Choose Manuals and then filter for Helix Stadium. It is a rich format web based manual, not a downloadable pdf.
  5. Your Helix device should act as an interface for update purposes. Sounds like your equipment is OK. I would open a support ticket.
  6. The HD Metal Pack is no longer being sold directly from the Line 6 website. However I expect there are at least two possible ways you can get it: 1) Open a support ticket and see if Line 6 can sell you a license for the pack on an ad-hoc basis; or 2) Someone reading this post might respond with a license they would be willing to transfer. Note that the pack already exists inn the HD500x device firmware; the license simply provides a key to unlock it.
  7. https://www.httrack.com/ I haven’t tried it but maybe worth a look?
  8. Note that Line 6 Monkey has been retired as explained in one of the banners at the top of this page. Perhaps an alternative described there will work.
  9. Sounds like there are 2 mixers involved: the virtual Matrix Mixer in the Stadium device and an external physical mixer. Have you checked all settings on both, particularly the expanded Song view in the Matrix Mixer?
  10. The best, and only, way to officially report a bug is to open a support ticket. There is no way to review existing bug reports. This is actually a good thing because if there were a way to view them it might result in people experiencing a bug and not reporting it because it’s already been reported. It’s important for Line 6 to know how many people a specific bug is affecting. That helps prioritize the sequencing of bug fixes. Short story: if you think you have found a bug open a support ticket.
  11. Interesting. I suggest you open a support ticket to report a possible bug.
  12. Good plan. If that doesn’t work the next step would be to reinstall the firmware using Line 6 Central.
  13. Are you familiar with the Trails On/Off parameter? That controls whether the delayed notes keep sounding when the Delay block is turned off. Perhaps it needs to be set to On?
  14. Look closely at the bottom of the Model Selector knob. In some cases it can touch the body of the guitar which prevents it from being fully depressed, meaning the electronics are not being turned on. If there is no interference from the body and the knob is being fully depressed, I would open a support ticket.
  15. Start a new thread. Describe exactly what you did when trying to install the firmware and exactly what you observed.
  16. Perhaps the notice at the top of this page re: License Manager retirement will help?
  17. Are the devices connected by midi cables or usb? Make sure your MIDI Global Settings and Command Center settings are correct.
  18. Unfortunately this is a quite common issue that usually boils down to local wifi and internet equipment, location, and configuration. Start by reading the manual sections on the Stadium App and WiFi, Internet and Bluetooth. See if your computer and household equipment, especially modem/router, meet the specs and supported technologies/devices. Search this forum for other info. The section under Support-> Knowledge Base and FAQs for Stadium includes this item https://kb.line6.com/helix-stadium-software-wifi-drop-outs-intermittent-connection
  19. Lots of different connectors and cables there. I would begin by stripping things down to bare essentials and rebuilding from there to find the culprit(s). For instance, is there noise using just the audio from POD Express to monitor? Does the noise disappear when you disconnect USB and don’t use the editor? You already know that USB hubs should be avoided. I have no experience with HDMI in these setups but that’s a suspect. Your symptom is often caused by electrical interference. Try using different household outlets, or ideally different circuits, for your POD, computer and speaker. Some people find that adding a hum eliminator device solves the issue.
  20. Very interesting article. Thanks for the link.
  21. Were you able to test the used UX2 before you bought it? Did the microphone input work? Are you familiar with using GarageBand, and sure that it is setup properly to receive the Mic input signal?
  22. Have you tried updating on the device itself, not using Central or the app?
  23. Wow. Seems I hit a nerve. I said nothing about comparing Stadium to Quad Cortex or any other Capture/Proxy technology. I simply stated the obvious: If the result of any capture process is audibly different from the target sound (which is what you have stated twice now) the capture is inaccurate. If you think the difference sounds better, that's great. I’m sure you’ve found Stadium Proxy captures that sound worse. No argument here. But producing a sound that’s audibly different is neither the intention nor purpose of Capturing/Cloning. "... expound about from behind a computer keyboard''' "? I'm not stating an opinion; just a tautology. If a Capture/Proxy sounds different from the target it’s inaccurate. Full stop.
