Not possible at this time. I and others have submitted a feature request for this. You can submit one too if you wish.

You say you just bought it. Can you return/replace it? The Pocket POD uses either batteries or an optional power supply. Have you tested both options?

I WAS WRONG - MIDI send commands within Snapshots

Thanks for clarifying….. and don’t beat yourself up too badly! -;)- 1 reply

I don’t think using the Helix Stadium vs. any other piece of audio equipments matters. You’ll get more info by asking this question in a forum with a wider (not just Line 6) audience. Not that you may not get helpful info here, just that you’re fishing in a relatively small pool for an ocean-wide question. Budget and required features matters a lot more than Helix Stadium.
-
So why do you use Helix rather than the real physical amp of whatever model you're using?
-
Actually I do have an answer of sorts. Helix Stadium is not currently able to convert audio to midi notes. You can submit a feature request for this capability here: https://line6.com/company/contact/productfeedback/ An AI will guide you towards products that are now able to do that, or will do it itself.
-
I don’t have an answer for you but I have moved your topic to the Helix Stadium subforum where Stadium users will see it, hopefully giving it more visibility.

Kind of defeats the purpose of a modeller doesn’t it?

I've only noticed one impact from Yamaha on Line 6 product development. They discontinued Line 6 products that competed with existing Yamaha products, specifically mixers (Stagescape M20D), PA speakers (Stagesource L2/L3/LS), and guitars (Variax). There's been no Line 6 development of any new products in those domains since Yamaha's purchase of Line 6. Variax JTV, Standard and Shuriken were already in development, profitable, manufactured by Yamaha anyway (except for JTV), and allowed to proceed. Development of Variax ended in 2018 when next-gen Variax was on the drawing board.

Possible new bug? Presets seem to appear changed when nothing changed.
silverhead replied to bverdon's topic in Helix Stadium
But you have modified something - the active Snapshot. If you Save the preset now it will load with a different snapshot (the current one) next time. That’s a change. -
Sounds to me like a hardware fault on both units. You can contact a Line 6 Service Centre for repair options and cost.

Yes, I had overlooked the FRFR part in my earlier response. The AI directions seem correct to me as far as they go. But I think it has overlooked the desire to use either the real amp or an amp sim at any time. You still need the amp sim block after the FX Loop and you need to arrange for it to be bypassed when the FX Loop is on. You will need to use a Split block after the amp sim with a Cab/IR after the Split to provide cab simulation to the FRFR. I would use the 2nd Output block rather than a Send block for the FRFR signal. The signal entering the Split block should have either the amp’s preamp or the amp sim, not both. Choose/configure the Split block to send the signal through to both paths. One path goes to the amp’s cab while the other goes through a cab sim to the FRFR. Set up your presets to use either your amp’s preamp or an amp sim, not both. For your amp’s preamp activate the FX Loop, and deactivate it for the amp sim. If you want to get really fancy and use either the amp’s preamp or an amp sim in the same preset you might look into using Snapshots to activate or bypass the FX Loop and the amp sim with one footswitch.

1. 4CM setup uses an FX Loop in the Stadium signal chain. One signal chain, no need for separate outputs. 2. Assign a Stomp footswitch to the FX Loop FX block. Do not use a Cab/IR in the preset; your physical amp cab provides that. When the FX Loop is active the signal is sent to your physical amp’s guitar input (preamp section) so deactivate the amp model in the preset. When the FX Loop is bypassed the signal does not go to to your amp’s preamp section so you want an active amp model placed after the FX Loop in the signal chain. 3. Any FX blocks you place before the FX Loop in the preset’s signal chain are in front of the amp, whether the real amp or the amp model (only one of which should be active at any time). Any FX blocks placed after the amp model are post amp. The only confusion here would be if your preset signal chain places FX blocks after the FX Loop and before the amp model. Those blocks would be post real amp but pre amp model. You might want to avoid that setup unless you have a specific purpose. 4. Just make sure you get the cabling right. I can’t tell you how many times novice 4CM users say “I’m sure my cabling is correct” when it’s not.

Stadium app not compatible with Marketplace presets?
silverhead replied to tibhib's topic in Helix Stadium
That’s correct at this time. Marketplace compatibility will come in a future release. -
A couple of reasons come to mind... 1. Not everybody uses Snapshots. It could cause a lot of confusion for those people. They're meant to be used intentionally. 2. In the original Helix there was a limit of 64 parameters that could be controlled by Snapshots. I'm not sure whether that (or another) limitation exists in Helix Stadium but if it does it could quickly be reached. Again this could cause much confusion for people wondering why their Snapshot parameters suddenly don't seem to be working in a given preset but are working in other presets. But many users might prefer what you're suggesting. Feel free to submit a feature request. https://line6.com/company/contact/productfeedback/

Stadium and Variax
silverhead replied to rwinking's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Variax support is pending, as described above. You can use Combo view to achieve the switch layout you want, as described in the manual. But you’re not alone… -
You’re right - the poll was ‘later with Showcase or earlier without’, but still clearly unfinished with other promised features yet to come. btw…. my earlier comments are my own. I don’t represent Line 6 in any way. They might not want to characterize current owners as early adopters, nor would they say that it was released in early-dev form. Both the initial version and the subsequent Showcase version were released when the features they offer were considered sufficiently robust and stable while at the same time meeting marketplace commitments (release in the fall of 2025). I look forward to many more years of Stadium development and ongoing feature additions and enhancements.

I can understand your disappointment. Of course, disappointment is a corollary of expectations. Recall that, late in development, Line 6 publicly polled users with the question “Would you prefer a more complete and finished product that will be released later, or a less complete product available sooner?” The clear user preference was sooner, with additional features coming later. Accordingly one should not expect a complete product at this point. You’re absolutely right that promised features like proxy capture remain unfulfilled, as expected. Will other features like preset spillover be added in a future firmware release? I certainly expect so, but I’m not putting any timing on that. Helix Stadium is still very much in its early development. It will, and already has, been much improved. For instance the Showcase feature was not released in v1.1; it arrived in v1.2. Also, v1.2.1 was released very recently, fixing some 50-odd bugs. I think anyone who owns a Stadium device now should consider themselves to be early adopters, complete with the associated bugs and glitches. You don’t have to use it yet. You can wait for several more months until it is more complete and less buggy. Most users responding to the Line 6 outreach wanted it sooner rather than later, and that’s what Line 6 did. Who knows what Stadium will become? Recall that the original Helix product has evolved significantly since its release. It is hardly recognizable now compared to that time. The same will happen with Stadium. As you point out it is currently unfinished. Of course, your feelings are your own and they are legitimate based on a certain set of (reasonable?) expectations.

Anyone experiencing this should open a support ticket to officially bring it to the attention of Line 6. Also, no need to reinstall if versions 1.2.1.1314 (firmware) and 1.2.1.3 (app) are visibly installed.
-
Double check that the latest firmware version (1.2.1.1314) is actually installed. Use the latest app (v1.2.1.3) and check the Help->About info. The firmware version wil show as v1.2.1. Click on it to display the installed subversion. If it's not 1314 reinstall the firmware.

Are you logged in to your Line 6 account on the Stadium device? If so you should see an update notice with the Downloads icon on the main menu. Perform the update.

Has there been any info on the "all audio out stopping" bug?
silverhead replied to gavinashun's topic in Helix Stadium
A firmware update was released yesterday. I believe it fixed this bug.
