I wouldn't even want to do this. Part of new tech for me is seeing what I get make it do!

I'm still going with the rack unit and I'll get the pedal later. I do mostly recording anyway so I may not need it for live application for a while.

I'm sure there are still heaps of gain that you can achieve. From the sound of it, it seems like they may have gotten rid of that fizziness that has been around since the original pod.

I'm waiting for the rack unit. Can't wait to see what this thing can do. I am expecting a massive upgrade in sound compared to the pod series based on price point. I really hope this thing is on par with Fractal/Kemper.

Glad to see the Rect, Angl, and Divided in there. Those have been my go to for most tones. Hopefully the HX models are even nicer, and I *REALLY* hope the noise from the HD Pro has been solved. That was the only thing that turned me off about that unit.

I haven't been this excited about new hardware in a long time!

I am so excited about the rackmount Helix. I'd like to see some demos of it for current progressive metal. I suggest sending one of these units to Keith Merrow and having him demo it. TONS of people watch his videos as he's a well respected member of the progressive metal community and he is known for demoing units. People go to his youtube just to see gear in action. Just a suggestion!

So editing software for pc/mac confirmed?

After a year away from Line 6 (got a Kemper Profiling Amp) I am happy to say I will be rejoining the Line 6 family when the Helix launches. Can't wait for another great product!
