I've read that the GX is not intended for voice recording, if I am right... I bought it a long time ago and I'm starting to record more lately however I want to keep recording with it for a time until I sell it and buy a more appropiate card and condenser mic as well. My question is with what I have what would be the optimal setup? I use the Noise Gate + American Classic preamp + Compressor in Pod Farm. The thing is the AC preamp makes it sound a little different and the compressor part is something I would rather do in the DAW for a more raw take to work with, so I increase the volume with having a little bit of preamp and compressor. Other preamps like console and modern also give a cleaner sound but don't seem to really preamp, or not too much at least since they don't have a drive knowb which seems to change the sound as well the higher they're set. Also inside the DAW use multiband compression which makes the audio much more crispy but idk if EQ is also needed with that, although the current setting I have seems to be good enough...

Hi, there! First post here, unfortunately, not for a good reason. I am having some clipping recently with my XD-V75. Receiver firmware is 2.04, the HH updated to 2.11. I have updated from 2.03 and 2.10 because of this problem. My girlfriend, she is the singer, started having these issues a week ago, when she sings just a little bit louder, than usual, but just a little bit from normal. As you could hear, there is like clicks and dynamic changes, both hearable on RF1 and RF2. So any ideas? She is using this V75 almost two years with no such problems, we even recorded songs with it, the sound was bright as a Maldives sunny day... Thanks in advance! Emil sample.mp3

Just received a Helix unit and started playing with it I'm seriously unimpressed with what it can dope with DSP wise I know there are limits but I've just maxed out Path 1 with a phaser an 808 and two amp cab models That's it! I know I can go to Path 2 but I was expecting to get a bit further than this based on the demos I've seen Faulty unit? This can't be it surely
