Trying to connect a Moog MP201 multipedal to Helix via EXP 2 and 3 - the Moog uses control voltage/CV out. I recall reading somewhere that the EXPs can be configured to accept CV (the manual only says "CV out", not in), and that the voltages can be configured to some extent within the -3v to +3v range, but I can't figure out how to do it, or if it's even a viable connection as described. Is Helix CV in capable, and configurable? If so, how? While the pedal can output to MIDI, I'd really rather stick with the CV if possible.

I really like the form-factor of the Mini Dunlop pedals (DVP4 Volume, Mini 535Q, etc), but the ideal Helix exp. controller has to have a toe switch to maximize functionality, I think. Are there any mini-form expression pedals that have a toe switch? How are you running your mini expression pedals with your HX Stomp, HX Effects, etc.)?

A bit of background info- Running HX effects straight into the front of an egnater renegade 212 combo. I have set up channel switching (clean/dirty) in the HX using a trs cable from EXT 2 and am trying to set up an expression pedal (Dunlop Volume X mini) on EXT 1. the Dunlop volume X mini works perfectly on EXT 2 for volume blocks but I can’t only get a small sweep (approximately 65%-90%) on EXT 1! I used a TS cable in both setups. Amp channel switching works perfectly on EXT 2 as well, but will not work on EXT 1 jack (yes I changed the setting from tip2 to tip1). In my perfect setup EXT 1 would be my Dunlop Volume X mini - used for volume swells, wah or any other parameter change I need depending on my preset. And EXT 2 would be dedicated to amp channel switching. am I having issues with the Dunlop in EXP 1 jack because it’s default to wah? why wouldn’t both EXP jacks behave the same and be able to do whatever I program them to?! any help would be appreciated!

So I just bought a Helix. It's used but in pristine condition. So my first question is about expression pedals. I already have an extra line 6 expression pedal but I was wondering if my ernie ball volume pedal would also function as an expression pedal for helix? just wondering... but my main question has to do with connecting to my lap top. When I connect the Helix via usb cable to my laptop, my laptop doesn't recognize it. So I can't register it with the license manager or with Line 6 Monkey. More importantly I won't be able to download and use the edit software. Is this normal and do you have any suggestions? I have a MacBook Air, for the record, and when I had the pod hd500x I had no problem connecting...

Hi, I'm using Boss FV-50L and FV-50H expression pedals but am having issues with the sweep range. The Boss pedals have a knob on the side to narrow or widen the sweep but even at the widest setting, the sweep range is very short. In other words, in the toe position I have 0% f/x and when I start to rock it back to the heel position, I get 100% f/x in about 1/4 of the pedal travel distance. What other expression pedals are compatible with the Helix?

Hi all My rig guitar rig includes a whammy, boss distortion and boss phase pedal running into a POD XT, running stereo into an M9 and out to the FoH. I use an FBV express to control my Wah/Volume and swap between amps etc. I've been experimenting with using the phase shifter and distortions on the POD preamp and want to use those instead of the pedals. Since I'm not using Exp inputs on the M9 would it be possible to attach two standard latching footswitches and send them through the M9 via MIDI to turn on and off the stomp and modulation FX on the POD. I can see how to get the POD to respond and which CC commands to use, but can't work out how to send the MIDI from the M9 and how to set the CC commands of the Exp inputs. Is this plan even possible? Ta
