Hi all, Having a bit of a problem :) All my Line 6 gear has the very latest firmware updates installed. I have a Spider IV 75W amp, FBV Express Mk II foot controller and a PODxt. The FBV Express Mk II foot controller works fine with the Spider IV amp and everything switches as it should. BUT when plugging the FBV Express Mk II foot controller into the PODxt it successfully switches channels within a bank BUT there is no LED indication on the foot pedal as to which channel has been selected. Also, the tuner facility isn't called up and in fact the tuner display only illuminates briefly when plugging in, and from then on is blank! Finally, plugging the FBV Express Mk II back into the Spider IV amp and it all works OK - including the tuner facility and the tuner display on the pedal. I'm wondering, if there is a particular combination of firmware for each product I should be looking for and using?? Has anyone succeeded in making the FBV Express Mk II and the PODxt work successfully with each other - and if so what versions of firmware are you running? Oh, I've swopped the CAT5 lead and also calibrated the swell pedal itself but it makes no difference :) Here's hoping anyone can comment!

Here are the controls for the FBV III when using it with a Spider Jam. FS1 - Turns on Recording Mode (see the manual for detailed info on recording) FS2 - Boost ON/OFF FS3 - FX1 (Chorus, Phaser, Tremolo) FS4 - FX2 (Delay, Tape Echo, Sweep Echo) FS5: Reverb ON/OFF When using the FBV3 with your Spider Jam, make sure you have the latest flash memory (v1.02) installed for your FBV controller. You'll find the Line 6 Updater located here: http://line6.com/software/ Download and install Line 6 Updater, then connect your controller to your Mac or PC with a standard USB cable. Line 6 Updater will ask you to login, and then run the latest update for the controller.

Hi Everybody, I just bought a Spider II (75 watts 1 x 2) Amp and just need to know if Line 6 currently makes foot pedals that can work with it. Thanks!

Hey gang! I'm a relatively inexperienced user of POD Farm, and I just had a quick question regarding footswitches. For what it's worth, I'm using POD Farm 2.55 on a Windows 7 PC with the POD Studio GX. What I need is a foot pedal that can cycle through tone presets I put together in a Setlist, and I don't need it to do much else at the moment. I know the FBV Shortboard MkII is capable of this, but at the moment I'm in a bind and can't afford to spend that much. Don't get me wrong, the Shortboard looks like a wonderful product and I definitely plan to one day invest in it! However, I have a show coming up in a couple weeks that I'll be needing this pedal for, and based on my research, it looks like I'll have to go third-party for this. So, does anyone know of such a product? I'd prefer a USB footswitch in the $50 or so price range, but I'll take whatever I can get. Any input is much appreciated! Thanks a ton, guys. Hope to hear back from you soon! Thanks, Ross
