Is there a way to see what the input impedance is? I mine set to auto, so it will get whatever the first block impedance is set to... I used to have an LA Comp as the first block, I am turning that off or deleting it in some patches and I would like to know how the impedance gets changed. I saw a list sometime ago that had the impedance for all the blocks(amps, effects, etc) and I guess I could use that if I could find it, however it seems like that would be something you could see. TIA

Hi. What's the actual input impedance in Helix stomp? I know there's some "auto" settings depending on effects pedal first in the chain, but that's not what I need to know, or what I require. I'm about to place an order for a one unit of this Helix Stomp, but I play an electric violin, of which the pickup requires to be always plugged into a whatever unit with an input impedance of at least 1Mohm (10MOhm ideally). So is Helix stomp able to ALWAYS have a 1MOhm input impeance like a regular audio interface?

Hi All - I had a spare XLR>1/4 TRS adaptor lying around (not an impedance matching transformer), and I plugged my Shure SM58 into the L/Mono of my HX stomp and set the input on global parameters to line. The volume was still VERY quiet and it basically didn't work. I notice on the Main L/R there is an In-Z selector (auto, 10k, 22k, 32k, etc) which I had set to "auto," but there is no option to go down as low as the mic output impedance (150 ohm). Then I started looking on youtube to try and figure out why this wasn't working and found a video that talks about the need for an impedance matching transformer - yeah yeah, I know I prob. should have researched it first. BUT, I didn't see anything in the manual that said I shouldn't do this and since the mic is a passive device, I would never have considered there would be any risk of damaging the HX stomp. However, the guy in the video mentions potentially "blowing up your hardware" by NOT using one of those, and that gets me super concerned. Did I bugger-up my HX stomp in some way?! Man I hope not! Please help me sleep at night!!!

Anybody that knows what the impedance is for return 1 and 2 on the Helix LT?

HI, I wanted to know if it is posible to connect into a pod xt "bean" a multieffects such as another pod or a zoom g1xon. Because i wanted to have some wahs and some overdrives. The effects chain would look like this: guitar in-G1xon-pod xt- Speakers/Usb Recording In the web page the specs of g1xon are this: Output: Standard stereo (1/4") phone jack Maximum line output level +2 dBm (output impedance load of 10 kΩ or more) Maximum headphones output level: 17 mW + 17 mW (into 32Ω load) the problem is that i can't find the input specs of the pod xt. Some has prove it?

What is the input impedance of the Line 6 Floor Pod Plus? I've built a preamp for some piezoelectric pickups I have, and while it certainly helps when plugged straight into an amp, it doesn't seem to affect the sound (beyond volume) plugged into my pod. I'm curious if I can just omit the preamp, or if something else in my chain is causing me to miss a difference in sound. Thanks in advance!
