  1. Hello guys. I bought line 6 ux2 and I want to hear my guitar through my pc speakers. How can I connect them?
  2. I was trying to set up my line 6 ux2 but when I got to the mixer there was no mic input. Help!
  3. Equipment Using: Line 6 UX2, SM7B, Pod Farm and Cloudlifter. My aim: I do YouTube videos and would like reliable good audio (with that radio warm sound). Hey :] I'll start off by saying that I am very new to audio and audio equipment, so you might have to talk to me like I am 5 years old, haha. After setting up the SM7B, I was pretty disappointed by how "dull" it sounded. I am personally looking for that warm radio sound. I understand you need to pretty much be ontop of the microphone, which I have started to do. I have tried all three foams, and have stuck with the thick foam because of how close I need to be with the microphone. I understand taking off all the foams will help, but I worry because I am a heavy breather.... won't condensation damage the microphone? I personally have no idea. I was also somewhat shocked by how sensitive the microphone was to speaking positions. I didn't go for condenser microphones or that very reason. If I were to read a line, sometimes it sounds exactly how I picture and other times it totally misses the mark. What I mean by this is, sometimes the volume can be VERY low, it peaks (even though I speak at normal volume) or it just sounds "dull". I really would like good level audio and not have to worry about the microphone not sounding good that one take. I have also noticed that UX2 will flat out refuse me to change from 44hz to 48hz on Windows 7. It either does show the option most of the time, but when it does the interface wont let me change. I have removed drivers many times. My gain on the microphone is roughly at 12 O'clock. I have provided images of my settings on Pod Farm below. I have also included what I consider to be a good take (with some extra light compression). Yesterday the 's' sounds sounded low quality and the audio levels were all over the place. Are SM7B's supposed to be so sensitive? If possible is there any effects for peaking? I am a quiet speaking person but sometimes I can get loud. I don't want to worry about peaking the audio when I am doing commentary. Sorry for all the questions! I just don't understand what I am doing wrong. I watch people on Twitch.TV all the time, and hear they have fantastic audio. I also see they are able to move their head around and still sound good. For me I have to be stuck in a locked position otherwise the quality will just drop. Thanks in advance :] !!!!
  4. Hey first of all I want excuse myself if I explain this in a bad way. So I use a Line 6 UX2 + AT2035 microphone for PC gaming and streaming. Works great and all that. However, I just recently got myself a Playstation 4 so figured that instead of buying a completely new headset etc. I'll just buy cables for the Line 6 UX2. So I got : 1x 6.3mm Mono Cable 3m, 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch 3.5mm Audio Splitter Cable1x KingTop 3.5mm Combo Audio Adapter Cable for PS4 So the 1/4 Inch to 1/8 inch goes into UX2 analog out L and R, connects into the PS4 adapter that fits into the PS4 controller. Microphone wise it works good. However, as I also use my UX2 to listen through. The analog out not only outputs my mic to my PS4 but it also outputs whatever sound is coming from my PC. So my question is, is there anywhere in PODFARM or on the UX2 I can prevent it from transfering the audio from my PC and get it to output the microphone only? I feel like it should be possible as hearing the audio isnt that what the headphones monitor thing is for on the front of the UX2? Thank you for your time. Best regards Chris "Sohlus"
  5. hello there :) i thought about to ask you guys what my problem could be i use a Line 6 UX2 in FL Studio to get a better latency , today i thought about to stream on twitch for my friends but the problem was as long as i use the UX2 in FL Studio the green bar at audio settings of windows (outputs) didnt move up so that means the sound goes from fl studio directly into my heaphones and dont even cross windows 7 the big "BUT" i use the ux2 as my main soundcard so i watch youtube videos and talk to my friends so when i watch a video and hear the sound with the ux2 but the green bar at windows outputs move up so this means all these stuff except the fl studio sound i can stream and record with camtasia 8 but why is it like that? what can i do? and what should i buy (what kind of interface)? i post 2 pics 1 with ux2 (no output at windows) 1 without ux2 (output at windows)
  6. Hi, does Line 6 UX2 allows to record mic input and instrument input ( that is semi acoustic guitar recorded on 2 mics and a cable to get three tracks) in one single take? if yes how? any advice will be very helpful. thanks
  7. HOLA AMIGOS DE LINE 6: QUIERO PEDIR SU AYUDA YA QUE MI DISPOSITIVO - INTERFASE - A DEJADO DE FUNCIONAR, DEJE DE TRABAJAR CON MI PC. UN TIEMPO, SE CAMBIO MI TARJETA MADRE POR UNA NUEVA, Y CUANDO RE- INICIE NUEVAMENTE EL TRABAJO NO QUISO RECONOCER LA INTERFASE. ME DICE QUE EL DISPOSITIVO NECESITA LA AUTORIZACION, LO HE INTENTADO VARIAS VECES Y NO HE CONSEGUIDO REACTIVAR EL SERVICIO. ME PARECE QUE LLEVO SOLO 4 VECES DE USO CON LAS AUTORIZACIONES Y NO ES JUSTO QUE YA NO PUEDA USAR MI DISPOSITIVO. LES AGRADESCO SU ATENCION A ESTE LLAMADO DE APOYO PARA PODER RESTABLECER MIS TRABAJOS. ATTE: ROBERTO CARREÑO REYES
