In a sudden grid shutdown (hmm...revolution?) people who have agricultural skills would fare well, and benefit the continuance of humanity. That is if the people who give in to fear and violence don't shoot the farmers and steal their food and land.

This sounds alot like a scene in the "Walking Dead" PS3 Game, lol.

House of Cards was good. But for the third season F.U. seemed to have lost most of his F.U.ness.

Another good one on the same channel as The Walking Dead was Halt And Catch Fire. Brings back some memories.

Along the same lines of The Walking Dead was Revolution, where the power grid was shut off by evolving nanotechnology, lol. The atmosphere of that show reminded me of the original Fallout computer games, 1 and 2, minus the humor.

i watched and liked revolution. (Jericho is along those lines as well... good show)

and agree on house of cards... they really didnt leave him anywhere to go when they made him president.

and Claire is just acting spoiled.

I kinda liked that show...too bad it was canceled so soon. Liked the tie-in with the "Illuminati"-ish organization. Oh well, only the good die young...

I've been watching:

"House of Cards" (A+)

"Outlander" (A+)

"Black Sails" (A+)

And when I'm in the mood for a laugh, I watch "Burn Notice" which just cracks me up.  before that I binge watched "Weeds" which also cracked me up, but I got paranoid people would think I smoked it since I have a security clearance lol...

Tried getting into a lot of shows, but the only ones that have consistently maintained my interest:

  • Game of Thrones
  • Silicon Valley
  • Last Week Tonight with John Oliver
  • House of Cards (tho' Season 3 wasn't as good as 1 and 2)
  • Fargo
  • South Park
  • Metalocalpyse
  • True Detective
  • Breaking Bad (when it was on)

Everyone says I should binge watch The Wire. Suppose that's next...

Fargo was an awesome show. Can't wait for the next season.

The Strain. Ahh! Vampires!

Silicon Valley is absolutely hilarious. Same with John Oliver.

Someone mentioned Burn Notice, there's a new series starting this summer from the same producers called Complications.

I tried to take a good picture but I didn't do a good enough job to show actual size. This fish was 18" long. I lost 2 before I got this one which was after spending 4 hrs out there.

Check this out, I use the Zoom worm, lol. Always catches big Bass. Never fails. Even in the winter, lol. Isn't there modeler stomp box called the Zoom that's getting a-lot of love lately? lol

I've been using that same bag for years now and I also use one that's 5"'s long, the one in the photo is the 6"er.

I always use top lures, like hula poppers and other crank bait. Got a couple of 17 inchers out of my pond that way. Worms? Damn pan fish eat those off the dang hooks lol....

I think the Bass here have eat'in all the pan fish, lol, maybe that's why the worms work, lol. Medium sized frogs work great as well. I found a few dried frogs that baked under the charcoal bin lid, lol. I strategically stuck it on that hook and it worked too. I never used a dried frog before, lol.

It's neat how they just dry perefectly and they float just right.
