ZKlegend
My HD500 does not run and have an issue like the one in this video: I tried some ways that i've read in line6 forum. 1. Cannot use the global reset way. I power on the HD500 while holding the left arrow button but nothing happened. 2. Cannot reset the flash memory. I cannot connect my HD500 with my computer through USB cable. The line6 monkey cannot search the device when i plug the USB cable in. Please tell me if there is any other ways to fix this issue. Thank you very much and sorry for my bad English.
duncann
Usually, number 1 fixes this problem. You could try holding the down arrow while powering on, which should force the unit into an update flash mode. If you get that, then run the Line 6 Monkey program to see if you can reflash the unit. Make sure to unplug everything from the unit before trying this, except usb and power, of course. If that doesn't work, something would be wrong with the unit and would need to be serviced. I tried the first way and i didnt work as i said I tried the second. The screen change into update flash but my line6 monkey doesn't regconize my hd500 when i plugged USB cable. Maybe my USB port have problem?
duncann
It might actually be something else (don't know what) since you can't get the unit out of a boot-loop. Just to double check, you tried the global reset with nothing at all, even usb, connected? And you might have tried multiple times already, but keep trying the global reset, you might get lucky. I know that calibrating the pedal sometimes takes multiple tries.
AlexKenivel
Check your usb port. Is the black cube in the middle of the port like it is supposed to be? I accidentally took that center piece out when I unplugged my usb cable once, exposing the four prongs and subsequently bending one of them, causing my device to do the same thing. caltamirano
I have the same problem, I have not been able to establish the factory installation, USB does not recognize him, it restarts every 5 seconds. I have not found other solution, but the team qui pull away.
Smashcraaft
If the down-key does not work try left, then up and right, too. Hope this will help :(
joel_brown
A bad power supply can cause that problem. Either measure the voltage of the power supply or borrow one from someone and try it.
