laxtlo
Hello, Has anybody any experiences with power amp and FRFR active speakers with helix ? I´ve been thinking to buy Palmer Macht 402 from thomann cause its kind of cheap comparing to premium models like matrix amplification GT1000FX-1U. They are promising tube sound but is that just a market mens sales talk ? :) -lax
cruisinon2
Has anybody any experiences with power amp and FRFR active speakers with helix ? Active speakers are already powered...you don't need, nor would you want, a separate power amp. You'll destroy the speakers that way. MusicLaw
Many of today's PA Monitors and Studio Monitors are designed with internal Amps and DSP to provide improved and consistent performance and flexible multi-channel capabilities. Even so, there are excellent non-powered monitors and separate amps that can deliver fantastic results. Go with what suits your ears, logistics, and budget.
