baggas
Seems like a basic question but i can't quite work it out. Using Helix Editor I have setup a preset with 2 separate paths 1 and 2, which I want to switch between in different snaphots. How do I assign which path is active and which is inactive per snapshot? Using Helix Editor I have setup a preset with 2 separate paths 1 and 2, which I want to switch between in different snaphots. How do I assign which path is active and which is inactive per snapshot? Both paths are 'active' for all snapshots. Not in front of my Helix at the moment but I think you could assign the level parameter in the output blocks to snapshots for each path and dial the one you want to be off in the snapshot down to -120db. That way you would only have audible level on the path you want active in each snapshot. You could also use various routing schemes to switch between one path and the other by for example bypassing a send block on one path in a snapshot. At the moment I'm just bypassing all the blocks in Path 1 when I want the use Path 2, and vice versa. It would be nice to have a less cumbersome way to simple A/B switch between the two paths. jbright44
At the split block you can choose to route the signal to path a or B. Assign the routing in the split block to snap shots and adjust the direction of split on a per snap shot basis. If all your doing is bypassing the second path you're e splitting your signal and you will have a parallel clean signal mixed in with your other path. Using the sit and merge block parameters with snap shots is the way. I do this all the time
silverhead
I think you could also use a VOL FX in each path. Assign the Level in both to the snapshot controller and set to 100 or 0 (or anything else) in each snapshot as desired.

Verne-Bunsen
That is how I've done it. Simple and allows you to retain reverb/delay tails.

NOTE!: If you do this you will still get dry signal running through the path that is "inactive". You have to mute one of the paths - either at the beginning or the end - or anywhere in between actually.
baggas
Thanks everyone. Ultimately I ended up putting a gain block at the start of each path. On snapshots I turn the gain block for the inactive path completely down and have the active path gain block at 0.0dB and vice versa when I switch paths in other snapshots. This seems to work well.
