Power over USB?

Well that's it... if they can't retrofit the USB port to charge my phone with the next firmware update, I'm going Fractal. ;)

If I could write some code that would output 5VDC and a few milliamps of current, I would probably work for.....Line 6. Then I could just play with Helix all day and get paid for it.

Don't even ideascale this, folks. It's a USB B connector. there's no power coming out of it, no way, no how.

 

I think we should march on USB Standards headquarters together. WHO'S WITH ME?!?!?!?!

Why not? It's been at least 6 minutes since some bunch of disaffected crybabies have unleashed phony outrage at s convenient, soft target that they don't actually care about, except for the social media opportunity it affords them to appear "concerned and correct" to the rest of the Twitterati...;)
