DanielJW
I've just updated to the 2.3 firmware and my Helix won't scroll through through the models when I use the joystick. I can click them up and down ect so it's not the end of the world but it is much easier and quicker to just scroll through everything. Is this a known problem? Has anyone else had this issue? I'm not sure what to do about it, I've tried the old turning it off and on again trick but it's still the same. Thanks
soblivion
To the best of my knowledge this should still work. I just read another post that describes the same thing. You are using the new HX Edit 2.3?
j_hotch
For what it's worth, I haven't seen this problem after upgrading. Both the preset knob and the stick scroll when rotating.
DanielJW
Yeah I'm using the new HX Edit. I'll try it again later and see if it still happens.
DanielJW
I updated it to the previous firmware and it still isn't working. I'm thinking it might be the unit itself rather than the firmware.
ThePup
My joystick no longer is able to rotation-scroll. It happened right after ther 2.30 update. I belive this could be coincidental, because if i pull up on the shaft and rotate, it kind of works (that sounded rather naughty).
jrrjr68
hmmm... scary. Can you roll back the update by resetting to factory?
jbuhajla
Sounds like something mechanical or a connection with the joystick, not firmware related. I would open a support ticket with Line
ThePup
Got my Helix back from repair and all is well. I am not sure if the switch was replaced, wiring repaired or something else.
hideout
I wish they’d let us know. I mean, was it the software or was the switch failing and it was just coinkydink? I don’t think I’ve ever typed that word “Coinkydink†before. 😆
duncann
I remember reading from Frank Ritchotte, that the problem with this is not actually the joystick, but the solder joints.
DanielJW
I got in touch with the dealer and they've sent it away to be repaired under the warranty. Apparently it'll take around two weeks. It's been 13 long days without now, so hopefully I'll hear something in the next few days.
ChristianBoddum
I've not noticed any mechanical problems after the newest update, I have however problems with the unit applying setlists. I tried going back to 2,21 but the problem didn't go away again.... :-( I get two code messages 8212 and 8214 but can't find and explation for them. Is there a manual for these messages some where? k.r. Chr.B.
