adecannon
Hello just got my Helix rack and i am looking for one pedal thats good for wah effects and volume although not at the same time, dont want to go down the multiple pedal route. I was going to purchase the Mission pedal for the Helix but read somewhere its not good for volume, any recommendations please.
Hammero
I just bought two expression pedals for Line6 Helix from Mission. In fact, I just got them today. 🙂 Works like a charm. I had three for my Axe Fx also. Very pleased with the pedals from Mission .
TonyHay
I got a Mission pedal a few weeks ago, and it exceeded my expectations. It's works and feels great. If you get the option without a spring, it would work fine for volume, wah, etc.
VirtualGuitars
I have two Mission Engineering/Line 6 expression pedals. They are fantastic. Make sure you get the SP1-L6H model which includes the toe switch which you can use on the Helix Rack. Although I have a Helix Floor, I still ordered (2) SP1-L6H's just for future use. spikey
I use a SP1-L6 Mission pedal for wah in Helix. I adjusted the "tension" of the switch so that its a light touch on/off. You do that by simply moving the switch up or down via the nut- easy peasy....
manix1979
I use a mission sp1-l6, a boss volume pedal and a no name from thomann. all work fine but the mission is the best one.
zooey
Did you see this thread about the M Audio EX-P? No experience with it personally, but he likes it.
linz
Did you see this thread about the M Audio EX-P? No experience with it personally, but he likes it. Yeah, loving the EX-P - especially for £14! Used many far more expensive expression pedals, but it’s smooth and reliable. I’ve got 4 now. adecannon
Thank you for all your recommendations, as its for home use only to start with I will try out the EX-P and at 14 pounds sterling sounds like I am onto a winner !

jbuhajla
I use two of the plastic Line 6 EXP-1 pedals. I've had one of them for a long time, recently bought another.

Just bought one yesterday it works just fine plug and go.im using it to set different setting in gain delay volume, but it didn't feel so good as a wah.BTW do you think its ok to use a wah between my guitar and helix, using it in the guitar input of helix? jbuhajla
I don't use an external wah, just wah models in Helix very occasionally.
