Heavyville
Is the bleat chop based of the Gig-FX pro chop? I don't recall being able to control the panning left to right. I want to set up an FX like Wings for Marie by Tool. So far the only way I have done this is to use the bleat chop in front then use the ping pong delay after and synch them, I have not figured out for to control both of the speeds with the pedal though. codamedia
I have no idea what effect was used as the inspiration for this one... but I'll try to address the stereo issue. If you insert the stereo version (and don't put a mono effect after it) it is definitely stereo. I would assume the "spread" is a key control here, but to be honest it's not an effect I use so I'm not certain how to set it up.
phil_m
It's based on the Lightfoot Labs Goatkeeper: https://lightfootlabs.com/gk3/
Verne-Bunsen
By coincidence I was listening to 10,000 Days when I read this. Great album, great song! Honestly I think you’d be better served with the stereo Tremolo/Autopan (I think thats what it’s called, not at my Helix presently) with the rate assigned to an expression pedal. You can assign the depth to the same expression pedal and set it so that it is very subtle at low rates and quite pronounced at higher rates. I use it like this and it makes for really great “trem swells”. And the stereo separation is enough to send you into a seizure, I dial the spread way back to 2.2 or so. theElevators
I just discovered this effect, and it's great! I was struggling trying to synchronize my tremolo effect to the tempo/rhythm of the song because it needed to be a particular speed.... now it slows down/speeds up and is never exactly on the grid, while preserving my needed tempo. Amazing.
