Ive just got a helix hx effects and trying to update the firmware. ive downloaded the updater and registered my hx, but nothing happens when i go onto the updater, just a blank screen. THAT installs all the drivers and the updater. 3) CLOSE HX EDIT. 4) Open the updater. Log in. Select your HXFX. 5) Read and follow the Update instructions. 6) Say a prayer to your favorite deity. 7) Did you read AND follow the update instructions? 8) Did you close HX EDIT BEFORE starting the updater? 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just want to add one thing to this step.... If you are on Windows... when you reach the "options page" leave everything selected. I've seen a lot of update errors posted that have been the result of users "unchecking" items they "think" they don't need. It will not hurt anything to just install it all.
