mattwalkerncl
Hello, I've been trying to a while to get my HX Stomp to load a few IR's but it will not allow me to load anything other than one IR and it MUST be into slot one. It allows me to import them they show up in the IR panel and the bar at the bottom of the panel progresses but then they disappear. I CANNOT figure this one out or find anything online about this problem. Does anyone have a clue? I've tried with different IR's but no joy. I'm on an iMac and running the latest version of HX Firmware. Thanks!
rd2rk
Assuming that by "the latest FW" you mean 2.91, do a factory reset (don't forget to back up your presets!), then restore your presets. If you're still having the problem, contact support.
mattwalkerncl
Cheers rd2rk - I've just done that and still no use. I'll give support a shout. :-)
gunpointmetal
This is probably a dumb question, but I like to ask dumb questions when troubleshooting. Is it letting you load ANY IR into slot 1 and only slot 1, or a specific IR? Are all of the IRs you're loading WAV format?
mattwalkerncl
Not a dumb question at all mate! Thats correct - from what I’ve tried, it seems to be letting me put any IR into slot one - they’re all WAV format that I’ve got so far. It’s mad! silverhead
Have you tried to drag/drop the IRs rather than using the Import command?
mattwalkerncl
I have indeed. It goes through the process of importing them as it does via the ‘import’ sequence and as soon as that’s done they grey out and disappear.
silverhead
Check to make sure you are running HX Edit v2.
pcholat
Hello, I have the same problem, since I made the update 2.90. All installed IRs have been erased (except the first) and cannot be recharged. Thank you !
Laurent_Schijns
I can't even go back to factory settings. Pushing the button on the windows application doesn't do anything. I also wanted to load IR's but i get an -2- out of memory condition?

bensjamin
Hi, im having the same exact problem as mattwalkerncl Im kind of guessing if the USB ports on the computer have anything to do with it? but i can do anything else with any other preset without loading IRs. When loading more than 1 IR, it says it loads, but then disappears. i saved my presets and i did factory reset, but still not working, please let me know too. thanks. marty989
Hi I had the same problem. Downgraded firmware back to 2.82 from 2.90 and all those IR's which I had dragged and dropped and then watched in disbelief as they disappeared from the editor, all of a sudden were there again under 2.82. I did not need to re-import them, they were there all of the time, just that the "new" firmware wasn't recognising them. YMMV. Hope this helps. You need to update HX Edit to the latest version as well as the firmware. You were using the old editor. That’s why the IRS weren’t showing up.
neube
I have the latest version of the editor and I'm still having the same problem. Just one IR :-(

Just one IR :-( The key is matching the firmware and HX Edit versions. Look under 'Help --> About' in the HX Edit menu and make sure both firmware and editor have the same version. The firmware version will be displayed across the top(as long as your device is connected properly) and the HX Edit version across the bottom.
