robbmelancon
Can someone explain why/when Poly Sustain effect is disabled? I am trying to use it in existing presets and the only way I can add it is if I delete almost all of the other blocks in the preset. Using with Helix floor. Thanks
phil_m
It’s a very DSP intensive effect. Like the other polyphonic effects, it uses about half the available DSP of one processor path.

Thanks Anytime anything is grayed out and unavailable, it's always the same reason... there's not enough available DSP in the path where you're trying to place the effect. Polyphonic effects chew up a great deal of processing power. You'll have to rearrange things, and sacrificing one or more other blocks will probably be necessary if the patch is already busy with a bunch of other stuff. MusicLaw
On the Helix Floor, Rack and LT, Path 1A and 1B use one DSP. Path 2A and 2B use the other DSP chip. To optimize DSP use, position your Blocks such that they use Path 1 and 2!
shanecgriffo
you’ll probably find that unless you have pretty basic presets you wont be able to just add the new pitch effects.. If you want the pitch before the amp it’s best to load the amp and post-effects on the bottom path and pre-effects incl pitch on path 1
