johnsc2988
Hello! I have an HX effects unit that I love dearly. Recently the power switch has been acting up. I have to turn the switch on and off multiple times for the unit to power up. Sometimes it's once, sometimes 12. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to what turns it on. Once on the unit works great. I'm wondering if anyone also has this issue with their unit? If so are there any solutions?
phil_m
Sounds like the switch is just going bad. Personally, I never turn mine on or off with the switch, but it probably would be a pretty easy thing to repair otherwise.

stwoods
Hi. I have the same issue and have confirmed that the rocker switch on my HX Effects is flaky. Anyone have a source for the part to replace? Or a keyword to search on. There are thousands of rocker switches. It's a simple fix that I can do myself if I can source a part that fits. robboman
Same issue here. Bump? Anyone have a link for the correct replacement part?
robboman
Until I can find the part, in the meantime I’ve taped it into the ON position and I just disconnect/reconnect AC plug to power cycle. Not elegant but it works so far.

I asked for the specifics of a different part which they provided.
C4TH
I had this problem a while back. I used a couple of sprays of Deoxit. Switched back and fourth a few times, and now it works no problem.
