PiFromBRC
I updated to 1.4 yesterday, thrilled that when I went to connect it said "USB-Update". Update went well, but the app is only recognizing USB-Update and not the actual USB connection. I'm right back to having to put in the IP. silverhead
Just checking…. You update both the app and the firmware, yes?
msj12345
I had similar at first. I connected to USB update and it connected itself and switched itself over. However was struggling with wifi so not sure what was going on where. What I did notice was that the timezone had reset so I updated that. I also restarted both the Stadium and my Macbook After all those USB detection has been fine. No idea which of these did it or if it was just chance but its been fine since. My only problem is that I used to have a rock solid wifi connection to the Stadium but now its useless since this update as it disconnects after about 10 seconds or so

PiFromBRC
@msj12345 when you say that the timezone reset, are you talking about on the unit, and what did it reset to?

If you have a stable usb connection why would you connect via WiFi?

I downloaded and installed 1.4 as well as the driver download from line
msj12345
The time zone on the stadium reset from my UK time zone to the default USA one after the update I use WiFi because I use it at home but since the update cannot so have to resort to usb and physically connect via a cable now. PiFromBRC
@Wah-bisca @silverhead Got any other ideas? I've got to imagine this isn't just me.
MojoAxe
I have the exact same issue. I’ve tried connecting my Stadium to the app via USB on two different Windows PCs and neither work. I’ve tried rebooting, reinstalling the app, turning WiFi and USB settings off and back on again, granting the Stadium app permission to go through the firewall, and a number of other things but nothing seems to work. I was going to try editing the UsbNcm settings per the suggestion above, but I don’t have any idea what that parameter is, and I received a warning from my computer that changing the setting was not recommended. The last thing I want to do is crash my computer. I’ll just have to put up with regular app dropouts until somebody discovers a solution. I'm running Windows 10 on a dell 3620 with an i7-7700 processor. I've tried different cables and I've tried plugging into both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, and I installed the Stadium app onto one of my other machines (which is also Windows 10) and it still didn't work. My wife has a machine with Windows 11 so I'll give that a try. The cable I am trying to connect with is this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094XYJRZ2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title This cable supports USB 2.0 data transfer rate up to 480Mbs. Could the problem be that this cable is inadequate?

It will give you a version like 25H2 and then a build number.
