  1. Hello, I didn't got replies from the DTedit author, so I post the link to the OSX version I've compiled today of his brilliant software. Some tweaking was necessary, so we must give a try and return some feedback. On my systems, win and mac, dtedit was not working. I've added a sysex identifying request after any Control Change message sent, and this works for me. I will try to compile the same code for Win32 very soon. Let me know! Flavio Ronco Torino, Italy. Download DTeditOSX.dmg file size: 22 MB ::UPDATE: I've updated the package, there was a wrong set of library files included. Please re-download it and give a try.

  2. Hey all, Just updated to 2.92. HX Edit isn't launching in Windows 10. Checked to ensure it wasn't blocked. Checked all permissions. Click, spinning circle for a half second and then disappears. Start task manager and see that nothing is started. Complete uninstall/reinstall, nothing. Uninstalled, reinstalled 2.90 and it starts immediately. Try to "upgrade" and still won't start. Tried a fresh install, still won't start. Checked "eventvwr" and got this error message about HX Edit: Any ideas?

  3. Hi, I had a similar issue and found that the problem was I had some stomps already assigned to the footswitch and then tried to add the snapshot on top of it - thereby requiring a second press. In HXEdit I looked at all the footswitches to see what was assigned to what and set those to none before going into command center and then adding the snapshots. Now it works perfectly. I hope this helps.

  4. In theory it would work, but only with a dynamic mic - the pod doesn’t have phantom power to power a condenser like the helix would. You couldn’t use the mic and a guitar at the same time the way helix can either with its dual paths, but if you’re just running a mic, there’s no reason it wouldn’t work?

  5. I hadn't, and I totally forgot about this, but thank you so much! I want to use a Pedaltrain Volto for a super compact no hassle travel rig, and I should be able to.

  6. CC#71 Footswitch Mode (0=Stomp, 1=Scroll, 2=Preset, 3=Snapshot, 4=Next footswitch mode, 5=Previous footswitch mode) If you want to, you can manually put the Stomp in Edit Mode, then use the above MIDI messages to change the functions of the footswitches. However, the display will stay in Edit Mode. You'll only know the Function Mode you're in by the colors of the switch LEDs.

  7. I am seeing the same thing here. I successfully updated my G10S and G10T firmware, but after the update I find that the battery bar drops very quickly. Today I plugged in on a full charge and played continuously for about 2 hours, and battery charge has dropped from 3 bars to 1 bar even before I reached 2 hours.

  8. I opened a support ticket. After the update the battery actually runs out after 3 hours, already tested 3 days of playing. Before the update the battery works for 6+ hours in the last year without any issue. If this is the "normal" effect of the new firmware / overheat fix, this is NOT acceptable at all. There isn't also any advice on this or specification on the firmware release notes, Line6 just say that fix the overheat, but not HOW actually this is done. If Line6 has sold defected units for 4 years, needs to refund the customers or send a new replacement units, not just cut in half the performance of the product. Anyway, I'll waiting for a support ticket reply in order to evaluate the situation. I was a very happy G10 (loved it so much) customer until this new firmware.
