  1. Wondering for those that have a D112 Cab how you generally like it? Questions are .... 1) Do you find that one cab is enough and/or would two cabs be worth the investment? 2) Anyone swapping out the G12H-90 for something different with positive results? I have a DT25/D112 and am generally pleased with it but wondering if others here are experimenting and if so what the outcomes are. I kind of feel the need to add another (D112) cab at the moment. I did put in a Weber Beam Blocker which is working well.
  2. Wondering if any of you might have created the multiple sonic sections of Eric Johnson's "Manhattan" for the HD500? I haven't been able to find them on Custom Tone. I am working away on it myself but just wondering if anyone has already done it?
  3. I would guess .... and this is really a wild assumption on my part with nothing but intuition to run on .... that the Spider Line is done? I think it is the POD and DT Amps for Line 6 now? (again, pure speculation on my part). I have a Spider IV 120 (practice amp), Spider Valve 212 MKII (great amp but has become a backup option now) and a DT25 Head/Cab which I really love (coupled with a HD500). So ... just FYI, have a look into the DT amps and see what you think? More $ for sure, but killer sound. The downside of course, (aside form the cost), is that they don't come loaded with efx like the Spiders. One has to admit that the price point on the Spider IV's was pretty remarkable.
  4. C.S. ... Congrats on ordering a DT25. Let us know what you think? I LOVE my DT25 head/cab. The available sonic combinations are fantastic. I also have a HD500 but I seem to prefer using the preamps in the amp.
  5. Have any of you come up with a good Leslie effect where the speed can be variable? I saw some posts on this about a year or so ago. If memory serves me well some members had found success with a combination of a couple of effects (although as I write this it may have been chorusing not Leslie that was being discussed .... I can't remember). I know (and have messed with) "Rotary Drum & Horn". Not bad, but fixed speeds. Anyways ... any insight would be helpful .... thanks.
  6. Not that this is the answer to your specific current problem (and it shouldn't be humming in standby mode) but I ALWAYS use an AVR whenever I play anywhere including home. I followed another member's (Spaceati) advice and got the Tripp-Lite LC1200. Killer. Never have a hum, never have a problem. As Space also mentioned in one of his posts, these amps are like little CPU's with power tubes .... they can be very susceptible to line voltage fluctuations and bad grounding. Let us know if you figure out the problem. Curious.
  7. Absolutely wonderful work and superb documentation. I downloaded the 160 meg Zip. Thanks very much for doing this.
