Hey Folks, Just got my new VDI cable form these guys (pic attached )
I am very impressed! its a ruggedised outer rubber and the cable is rock solid and very flexible. Closest I have got to regular guitar cable.
Thought I'd share.
cheers.
Quite a heavy handed player and usually tuned to Eb and was having issues with high E popping of the nut. Thought i would stick a string tree on to see if it made a difference. One gig in and all good so far. It may very well be Hawthorn but thought i'd share anyway.
Just a note, the screws that came with the string trees are rubbish and both broke while I was trying to fit it.
Great thanks lads,,,, yes just gave the knob a tug (ahem) and it came off easily enough. Dropped a piece of cardboard in there and works perfectly now,
excellent, thanks.
Hey Guys,
Quick question, does anyone seem to be having issues with engaging the models? It seems to be getting harder and harder for me to switch the JTV on & off using the model know.
Would a few squirts of anti static do the trick?
love to know if anyone has come across this and what you recommend .
cheers
Thanks Yeah... its a pity you cant treat the looper as a standard effects block that you can simply remove it for some patches... and add it in as needed....
Would be curious to hear of any pod users that use the looper function extensively that warrants having it as a 'hard coded' feature
Thanks
Hi Folks,
Anyone encounter this issue? I play in a three piece, lead vocals and guitar, there is a lot happening on stage and more than once i have accidentally hit the looper function instead of fs4. while toe tapping and had some nasty loops kick in in mid song!!!
Is there any way to completely disengage the looper on the hd500x?
I saw a post that suggested wrapping an elastic band around the switch but wanted to hear if you have had the same experience and what your solution was...
cheers!!
Hey folks,
I picked up a pod hd500x in the us and trying to get my hands on the little adapter clip that covert the 2 pin to a UK three pin.
They usually ship with pods sold in the UK. Any one know were I could find one?
Cheers
OK, i think i found my answer,, i need 9v AC 2000mA....
I know these XPS pedals were designed for the older variax models... anyone have success with the JTV's?
Hi Folks,
Curious to find out if anyone is using the line 6 A/B pedal to split the electric and acoustic sounds of the JTV as well as power the JTV?
Does anyone know what powersupply it takes? I have a pedal power bank but the jack doesnt fit. I tried using the power supply that i use to carge the JTV...it fits but the pedal doesnt seem to work. the JTV power supply is 12v DC 1000mA. There are no markings on the pedal..
does this even work with the JTV?
thanks
