Oh no I'm not saying they're bad amps at all! I just said the issue I had? And a few I've seen here. I should have worded it better, I was meaning that they are solid amps and sound great with only a few people having issues. I meant it as a good thing talking about the high quality of them, sorry if I confused you all. They are wonderful and I love my replacement one. (Good old refund and got one on clearance at GC for hundreds less) it's a beautiful amp with great tone

Click on the Gear icon on your quick bar or click on the empty desktop, then click the apple symbol in the left corner top, select preferences, and security. Also in garage band in might think it's a MIDI device, so under your input look for something Labeled POD, or Line 6 Pod (sometimes mine does this because amplifi IS based on POD XT architecture) or possibly "USB DEVICE" as mine sometimes does this on El Capitan. I'll try to fu d my USB cable and plug mine in to see if it gives me the same issue your having.

Don't restore the devices, it's an app issue not an OS one. Try keeping your phone in airplane mode, and then turning on Bluetooth, same with iPad. I find that this fixes most issues.

It's not unsolvable, try going to security permissions and letting the Amplifi have permissions to see if that's the issue, also are you trying to use GarageBand or some other software? P.S. I used to work for those people in the tech area, it could be any number of stupid things not letting it through, worst case is re install OSX. Buthe I highly doubt it'll go that far.

Join the cult of the DT barring some issues I and others have had, I'd say it's a pretty solid hybrid amp. It literally IS the best of both worlds and is as close to best bang for the buck you can get, unless you're going to cash out $1500 for a Helix or 2k+ for an Axe FX

I like l6 stuff....it has a certain charm to it. I've used many setups that I like. Line 6 easily makes top 5!

I did, it's still not working. And line 6 support is about as useful as the current run of presidential candidates.

Yeah, I hate GC but a sale is a sale, the amp is a year old floor model, so I know the tubes only have probably 6 months or so before a change is needed, and the light buzz on low power mode seems to happen across all the DT amps of the volume is super low. Looks like hell but play flawlessly and with only $419 to add the 500x? Absolute steal even if I do have to service it soon. Just bought the HD packs from L6 while they're on sale too. It's gonna be a great summer for me!

Just sent it off, get my refund next week from the dead unit...BUT. I popped into guitar center today for memorial day Sale, and scored the only DT25 for $499 and a PodHD500x for $419! Saved soo much money. The amo has torn vinyl on top and scratches everywhere but plays so great like my dead one used to before it died, and if it fails I've got decent insurance covering all my stuff anyway so it'll be repaired if needed. I'll pick it all up on Wednesday after they're done checking it all out to make sure it's working well!

Pretty sure The One is using the POD XT. That being said others songs were pretty good, but Jesus some of the lead licks are waaaaay to harsh sounding and tinny. They're good songs, but (not sure if it's because of POD or mixing) the lead high note runs on some songs are insanely shrill. Just providing some constructive feedback Great job though! -
Oh dear, it should not be doing that if you move away. Check your guitar cable and try another one or 2 to make sure it's not them, If it's still doing it, it might need to be looked at. Especially if the plastic is vibrating that loud. Has the amp always done that since you bought it?

That feedback happens with any amp if your closemail die to the magnetic humbuckers, most of my amps do it with gain up about half or more. As for number 1, are you sure it's the plastic panel vibrating and not the speaker itself? And is it just on low 5 and 6 string notes? My amp did it and turned out to be a speaker issue among other problems.

I just noticed a price drop from $500 to $425 on most places like GC and Amazon. Wonder why sweetwater hasn't jumped on the price drop bandwagon yet. I think I'll order it while I'm waiting on my DT to be replaced. So I have a week to mess with it first.

Yeah, might be a bit more or less, it's a college thing I do for a year or 2, and I used a roland 80GX, but I just can't stand it's sound anymore. 25 watt DT should replace it beautifully ( assuming they don't all have terrible issues). Thought about the BIAS amp head coming out, but it's distorted tones are poo compared to what I've heard my DT belt out, all warm and punchy!

I had less than 4 hours of play time X.X. the amount was soooooo beautiful sounding though so sad to see it die. The Mesa rectoverb is kinda pointless though since I already love the DT. But at the same time I can go 2 weeks on no guitar amp; my 4 watt vox can't play with a 40 man jazz band and a drummer x.x here's hoping they get a new one or fix mine, quickly! I'd hate to spend almost $600 more on an amp (not really really sure it's even worth the $1250 they charge)

Holy hell on that 1800 mesa. I was very happy with the stock voices on my DT, but the edit part should be fun (as soon as my replacement comes x.x) I assume dt edit needs the L6 link?

No, because when I turned it on this morning and went from standby to on, it popped, and now the channel area won't light up, Pentode and triode are off, and it shut off and back on. Called sweetwater, their amp technician said it sounds like a blown tube and transformer issue if it's power cycling like that x.x I can get channel IV to work on setting B, but A and 1-3 won't come on and It shuts off every now and then (consistently ever 10-20 minutes). They said it'll be 2 weeks before they get another amp in stock and asked if I just wanted the Mesa instead (extra $500 of course). Told their tech I'll hold out for another DT25 if I don't have another gig come up this week because I freaking love this amp.

Gibson Lespaul, Fender Telecaster, Ibanez RG421 and 7421. Topology I and III Brand spanking new amp from sweetwater. Amp clean tones started getting buzzy about a day after I owned it, I'll try again today and see if I can get it clean and not buzzy, or maybe it will clear up by itself.

So quick question, my guitar's low strings sound super distorted and.buzzy now if the amost is on a clean channel, it never did that earlier, there's also a kind of crackling noise and intermittent pops. I've yet to test another.cable, I'll use 4 different ones. My question is How screwed is my amp if the cable isn't the issue?

That's true, I love multi effects units, and my tone' I'm a music performance student in college and I need many sounds to perform with. I like my DT25 a lot though, it's got that "sound" I've been searching for. For my self I guess. I hope I don't have it blow up or anything bad! I'll definitely pick up an HD500 though regardless, because I've decided not to spend excess money on pedals and such. And having heard sound samples, really don't notice the difference between the POD and pedals. Going to be a wild ride!
