Any of you having any issues with the onboard Helix expression pedal not going to 100% toe position on certain presets? I have one preset where it works fine and a couple others where it will only go to 98%. This is on a pitch whammy block. The weird thing is I even copied the block from the preset that works.

I'm having a problem with the Expression Pedal 2 not going to 100% in the Toe Position on certain presets. I have a whammy -12 down and +12 up block. I have a clean preset in User 1 presets 1A and it works fine there. However I have a Hi Gain preset on 1C & 1D and the expression will only go to 98-99% in the Toe position. I reboot and it works for a minute, but goes back to the same issue. Preset 1A always works ok. I even copied the block from preset 1A to the other presets. Anyone else experiencing something similar. Is this a known bug? D.I.? Running Firmware 1.02.2 UPDATE: I think I found the issue. It only happens when I'm running the 4-cable method and I have my amp (Friedman JJ100) plugged into the Helix amp control jack. The expression pedal position will not read 100% (only 98%). As soon as I unplug the cable from the Helix amp switching jack or I turn the amp off the position goes to 100%. Can anyone else repeat this issue? Help Line 6, D.I.

Yep, you can have more than one amp per preset. This is more than likely the way I'll set mine up until scene mode becomes available.

It won't launch with scene mode. You can vote for it to be in a firmware update here: http://line6.ideasca...de/727231-23508 However, you can assign each footswitch up to 8 commands. So you could have (2) different signal paths in each preset and use a stompbox footswitch to turn on/off different blocks (up to 8) within the preset.

I preordered mine thru Musicians Friend because I already have a MF card. Originally their site said expected to ship 08-17. Now it says 09-04. American Musical Supply says expected 07-21. They also say they are a Certified Helix dealer. Can Digital_Igloo tell us which retailer they are shipping to first? AMS, SW, MF, SA?

I understand that it can be designed to be rugged with one hinge. Just asking for some insight into the design and what kind of testing they may have done in regards to the expression pedal specifically.

Any feadback D.I.?

Phil I realize the pedal wont bend. I was more concerned about the hinge itself. Usually a pedal has one on each side.

I'm concerned with the design of the expression pedal on the Helix. I realize it's thick aluminum but it only has one side hinge. This seems like it would make it prone to mechanical issues with canna levering. Digital_Igloo or Phil_M have any input on this?

Like I said in the other posts about this...wondering why they are pretty much only demoing the Plexi model...give us more! I dare you :P

Still just a darn Plexi. They only seem to be demoing that tone and a Fender in the Sweetwater demo. Is this the only amp model they have "refined" right now? not that I don't like a good Plexi tone...

I hope they put as much into the other amp models as they appear to have with the Plexi. That seems to be the main model on the 2 videos so far.

Will the wahs have an auto engage/disengage option?

The silence about this has me worried that there is a significant drop out when switching presents...Digital_Igloo???

I preordered mine on Friday. Can't wait. I am also on the Fractal FX8 waitlist but looks like I'll be passing on that when I get my emal. The Helix is just what I've been looking for. I've always been a big Line 6 FX supporter. I had most of the old modeling stompboxes. I still have an M13 on my large pedalboard which I love. Haven't been to keen on Line 6 amp modeling for awhile now. Hopeing that blows me away too.

Still want to know if there is a drop out when switching presets. This was a huge issue for me with the HD500. That's the main reason I sent it down the road. I didn't even use the amp modeling and it still dropped out.

Thanks D.I. Any plans for a clean boost like the Xotic RC Booster? That's a staple for me. Or a Pigtronix Envelope Phaser? One of the best Phasers out there IMO.

+1. Can Digital_Igloo chime in on this? I had the HD500 for a bit and the drop out between patches was annoying. That's where Scene capability would help. That being said, I preordered mine yesterday.
