Just got Massdrop Sennheiser HDXX 300 Ohm same as HD650 's - amazing still waiting on amp - very impressed and comfy - guitar sounds amazing now - highly recommend them - Ebay yours best bet for pricing right now :)

I noticed this also I played around with changing driver in daw from waspi to asio then reverse it - fool around with it - all of sudden it was day and night - not sure how it happened but it was way better - play around with switching driver - that may help - not sure this fixed it as I was trying everything also so cant say for sure, I ended up on my rig kontrol 3 asio driver and it was great, asio4all and I never got along

It was Sennheiser 650 - DT770 or DT880 in my price range but read a lot of reviews they mention DT770 or DT880 are pretty hot on the highs especially the 880 hence my decision - let you know how it works out :)

I did a lot of homework and decided on Sennheiser 650's - 300ohm and an amp nothing special an Art amp - good enough for now - ordered but do not have them yet so cant report on them

Quick question asked fremen but thought I would ask here also why would sound come out off one side of headphones in helix native other presets are not doing that - its his "wish you were here" preset - thanks

I am using rig kontrol 3 and using expression pedals for volume & wah - and foot switches on kontrol 3 for changing snapshots all works well - not a mac guy so maybe someone can chime in on how to add pedals to your interface your using or suggest an interface that works with adding on expression pedals - good luck

Yes native has snapshot ability - pick a known preset that has snapshots and up top in the middle is you snapshot pull down list or roll your scroll wheel over snapshot 1 - that will change them also

You are the MAN besides Sounddog :) it worked had to mess around with NI controller editor but wow great stuff - thanks much Russ :) After you hit learn once as stated you just change number values for each button - learn only needs to be done once only 6 presets setup but pretty straight forward when it works - most pre built tones dont have 8 presets anyway

oh you mention "in reaper, on your track1 FX window" is that the helix layer (track) or a new track all by itself ? thanks

I never understood doing it after the fact - real time is my preference - want to hear what I am doing at the time not after :)

What are you sing to change snapshots ? hardware on the fly - fyi noticed you can roll a mouse over them and they change with no midi assignments - kind of hard to do that while playing guitar :)
