PLEASE HELP! How to run Helix Native but not through DAW
rsvette12 replied to RichyRIhc's topic in Helix Native
What Phil said - would be nice to have a standalone but does not have it now -
Will you have any future products based on Gilmour theme of IR'S Thanks

Just an update Art amp was useless - I now have an Emotiva A-100 and a Little Dot III as a preamp with 83 Russian tubes - wow pretty amazing setup I can have a warmer or less warmer sound depending on which amp I turn up louder - tube amp being the warmer of course, wasn't cheap but worth it Sorry for crap picture

Me thinks its not ready yet - wait until they return from NAMM - they just announced it :)

David Gilmour’s use of rotating speakers - the Leslie effect - doppler effect - can a Rotating speaker sound be done when making Gilmour helix tones ? just wondering – thanks
-
Save to library will ask you if you want to over write say yes all done - make sure you do this before leaving that preset or it will default to what it was and most important if you add an IR to a block

What DAW Can I Use for Helix Native on an Older Mac?
rsvette12 replied to DammKid's topic in Helix Native
Studio One would be an excellent choice -

Be great if you could have at that snapshot list without automation :)

You would go to helix native in daw and deauthorize the license then in new computer just retrieve it again How do I deauthorize a device? To “Deauthorize†an authorized device, select the device within Line 6 License Manager and click the Deauthorize button. When deauthorizing a Line 6 USB device, you may also be presented with an extra step to “Remove†the licenses from the device. If you are presented with this screen, just click Remove and wait for the Line 6 Server to properly configure your device.

Found this from another forum - might be worth a try A much simpler method to control Helix Native (and no other plug-ins required) if your DAW supports controller assignments, is to simply assign controls to plug-in parameters. Logic Pro X supports this, for example; here's how: Set up your channel strip with Helix Native as a plug in. Set up your Helix control assignments (e.g., Knob 1 for Wah position), then return to Helix Edit mode to show the parameter controls. Go into Logic’s Controller Assignments, Easy Mode (under Logic Pro X pull down menu). Select Learn mode, move your HN Wah Position slider (Logic will learn and show “Parameter: Helix Native Knob 1†Move your expression (“wahâ€) pedal. (Logic will learn the MIDI channel and CC for that pedal. Use Expert view to edit min/max, etc).

Heres another - maybe a setting in your preferences ?
