Stupid question if I load a backup does that just get my presets back with retaining 2.8 update or will it wipe out 2.8 Had to reload 2.8 forgot I bought stop presets that need 2.8 - thanks much

All seemed fine with 2.8 but HX Edit kept loosing connection - rolled back to 2.71 - doesn't do that anymore - hope a future update will work

Do you mean 2.71 he stated hes back to 2.71 finally got one to go through and restore my unit to 2.71

Rolled back - all seems fine - if you didnt create a backup before installing 2.8 you can still do this it works but you will have to probably have to resort out your snapshots It also put my global settings back which is nice 1. Uninstalled Helix Edit 2.8 2. Launch the Line6 updater the new version is fine - you will see big Helix 2.8 graphic - click on it it will now bring up older versions 3. Click to update to 2.71 4. Strange part while it was updating got some 2.8 message just hit ok - it continued and started to update to 2.71 - appeared for a bit it was stuck so I x out and got message that said do you really want to do this - I said no then it finished updating 5. Installed Helix Edit 2.71 launched it then in Helix Edit menu I hit restore to a backup I made before doing 2.8 - let it do its thing - all set everything back again Me thinks it could be an issue with Helix Edit program not 2.8 update in the Helix unit - but not sure - I will wait till things get sorted out before updating again

Restarted many times still did it - moved to another usb but not tested well see if that helps but doubt it

FYI I am not using a hub - its straight in to pc

leave everything alone - cancel out of installer and restart installer again - worked for me

Thank you - yes reboot re-load update - restore to factory 2.8 - you name it - good practice updating lol Sent a ticket well see what happens strange all my other payware tones work fine

Hi Guys Maybe someone may know why Rigbusters snapshots are not working with 2.8 update All my other payware snapshots are working - Rigbusters snaps dont show up only one per tone I did not own these before new update just picked them up today so I cant compare to 2.7 Hoping to help out developer also - hes not sure why they are not working also - thanks much

Wonky got mission working but looks like I will need to manually set things up for each preset

Actually after 2.8 update Mission epx pedal wont work at all - any ideas - thanks

Hi Guys: Changed my helix lt onboard pedal to have a global volume (exp 2) for all presets with a volume block - but now I cant get my mission exp pedal to work for a wah on exp 1 Worked before but of course I had to set volume exp pedal 1 on my lt manually for every preset Thanks for help

Anyone tried Stomp presets on a helix do they sound as intended - I believe you can use those presets now ? thanks guys

Try running helix edit as administrator see if that helps - highlight shortcut - right mouse click and run as admin

1ST thing I had to do - go to global settings - displays - 2 options its the second one turn it off :) All my payware presets are still there - good job line6 - have to try it out now - if you get stuck at 50% shut down updater and start it again first - easiest thing to try first - thanks again to OP
