As the guru mentions above - I agree I would not want my eq to effect any others sounds but my Helix that would not be ideal Download APO EQ for EQing - youtube - mp3's etc. on your pc if you have one - mac thats a problem - this program is only for a pc and its excellent especially for free

If anyone wants to try this demo make sure you select a new preset in helix edit so you are not fighting a Helix preset with this program seems fine if you just pick a new preset meaning Helix only acts as an audio interface when you make the switch to a blank preset

Exactly Cruisin - this is how I do it but tuner in front of drop then drop into Helix guitar in on back of Helix - my guitar goes into tuner

Well thats good to know but nothing changed here except for update also tried another usb cable - also not using a hub - so its strange

Something really messed up there for sure - only thing I have a problem with is helix edit loosing connection which it never did in 2.7 - line6 hope your listening :)

Hi Brother Thanks but figured it out - see screenshot This is an excellent plugin for guitarist - only used for a few mins after realizing you have to load ilock program to get it to work Called Archetype Plini - jury's still out wont replace my helix of course but interesting and sounds pretty good for a vst is also standalone 14 day trial

My toe switch doesnt work - well at least in what I want it to do - If I want volume to be exp 1 I hit toe switch but does nothing to switch exp 2 to be exp 1 - maybe it doesnt work that way ? thanks

Your welcome try demo - play with it on and off and see the difference - that said if you have a tone you would leave Mikko on and replace ir or cab meaning just shut off ir or cab if there is one in the snapshot (tone) this replaces the cab - they live together meaning you will have helix edit open and Mikko open right next to each other :) There will be more cabs in the future and probably mics confirming that now with developer - there will be a cost however - this is a lot of work and real amps and mics to make these additions are needed fyi

Didn't start thread to be a P match :) I only made an observation on how much better my tones sound using these cabs - its day and night That said I didn't purchase it to make ir's - but I will have it on now and have to make my tones work with it now

Developer said they will offer more cabs and mics in future :)

I dont fiddle what I like is the sound is way more fuller - more realistic to me - turn it on play with it shut it off you will see what I mean Just use helix amps and use this for cabs - bought it immediately this brought helix to a new level for me - play mostly with headphones and I tried tapping but notes never rang out - now I can that alone was worth the money Hope they add more cabs to it - I dont thin his cab packs are for this I think they are irs in helix but not sure - anyway its free to try cant hurt

Thank you much :) I do have a mission exp pedal and use that for wah - I dont like to switch between the two on the helix it self :)
