  1. I am hoping and praying we get some Zilla cab models, Diezel and PRS Stealth Cabs. I would like to see some cab love in an upcoming update
  2. Tested my Archer. Its similar to the model on the Helix, but much much much thicker with more depth. I have to rework my High Gain Archon presets, and EQ out the low end. Now that I really tested it, its not as tight and focused as the Minitaur. I can appreciate the depth it adds, but its just not worth it. I think the Overdrives in Helix are really really good. Returning the Archer
  3. I would like to see 7, and 8 string Variax guitars. Shuriken headstock, with a telecaster body, or a more Ibanez RGA style cutout body. Lots more modern players out there are looking for something from Line 6 that can draw them in to combining Helix with Variax.
  4. I just ordered the J Rockett Archer, and I wanted to see if anyone has used their own OD's with Helix, and their experiences. Precision Drives? Archers? TS's? Lemme know
  5. Im just waiting for EVH and Diezel. Those two models, and Im completely content. Otherwise I love the Helix, my joey sturgis IR’s sound sick with it, and Im definitely happy. I just need the EVH and Diezel models for specific projects
  6. Eh, I can wait. Mikah912 has a point. Other companies are not popping out upates with this much content. Im just hoping for Diezel, and EVH
  7. As far as better stock cabs, the majority of legit players, and producers use impulses. The new Ownhammer Zilla cabs are utterly devastating. For me, I don't think I would ever use stock cabs. Unless its some kind of ground breaking update, I just don't see the need.
  8. Yea, besides the Diezel models, there really isn't much else in the high gain area to want or need. I am def on board with some better reverbs. I think legit reverbs will be the big game changer in the next update if we get them
  9. The Helix rack I returned did not work. The Helix LT worked, so maybe the racks have some sort of issues.
  10. Ok so after buying the Helix LT, it works perfect on my MBP 2011. Seems that the Rack units may have an issue with the 2011 MBP.
  11. I would love to see a Mike Fortin model, or the Randall Satan in an upcoming update
  12. This flaky usb thing is kinda BS. Axe Fx editor, Kemper editor, Maschine, and basically any and all other hardware with editors work perfect on my MBP 2011.....except Helix
  13. Also, I opened tickets, but line 6 provided no solutions that worked on a 2011 mbp
  14. I also have a 2011 MB pro, and experienced the same thing. Sorry but this issue is the reason I returned my last helix rack, and Im not sure if I wanna buy another helix unless this is fixed.
  15. Using Ableton Live 9 (latest version), Macbook pro 2011 16BG ram, SSD OSX Sierra I get around 22-27% CPU on a pretty basic patch running an amp, cab, and a couple of effects. When recording, I have to start freezing tracks to improve my workflow. Frankly, I am impressed. However, the CPU load makes me wanna say %$^# it, I would rather spring for an LT to not have to deal with the strain of this plugin. It hampers my workflow having to freeze tracks.
  16. I tried the Demo, and I love it, however I would like to see some CPU optimization. It is a CPU hog for some, maybe for others its not. I use Ableton Live, Macbook pro 2011 16GB Ram, SSD, and running OSX Sierra. I think its around 27% CPU. That is a bit much, I would like to see it drop to around 10% CPU
  17. So my story is back in April 2017 I bought the Helix rack. It did not connect to my MacBook pro 2011 running OS X Sierra. I tried everything that was suggested to me in the support ticket that I filled out and still, I could not connect. I could connect it to my wifes crummy PC she uses to just do Facebook and stuff, but it would never be able to connect to my Mac. That pissed me off so much that I returned it, and went for other solutions. Now that Helix Native is out, I jumped at the chance to try the demo, but sadly, the CPU is just too much of a hog. I upgraded my MacBook pro to SSD, and 16 GB of Ram. So unless they have a permanent solution to connect the hardware to all Macs, I won't get a Helix hardware unit, even though I genuinely like the sound of Helix a lot. I hope they come up with a permanent fix.
  18. That is a pain in the butt, glad it worked for you, but how about they just fix it. Its a pretty ridiculous issue when you come out with something that people wanna test a demo before they buy, and they can't even get it working. I put in a support ticket, not that it will help. I think they need to remove the "login" to access Native. Just run the damn thing in Demo mode automatically for 15 days, and if you buy it, you can just pop in your serial to unlock it. Huge turn off as someone who was seriously on the fence between buying this, or getting a Kemper/Axe Fx
  19. I downloaded the demo, signed in with my user name, not my email. Still, nothing. I cannot sign in at all. I wanted to test this out before I bought it, obviously incase I run into lots of bugs. Can this please be fixed? Mac OSX Sierra
  20. ummmm I downloaded the demo, and it won't even let me sign into my account at all. So wack
  21. Fractal is not releasing a plugin. I called them directly and spoke to a rep. He said they took it off the table
