Have you tried ' forgetting/unparing on your device then trying to connect again?

Did you notice a better tone/experience than the Amplifi?

I've got the FBV Express 2 pedal ( don't get any lag ), it's been great for changing patches, but would like to be able to change banks too. In hindsight I wish I would of bought the FH Fx to start with, would of saved me alot of money. But I'm ok with my Amplifi atm, it's still serving my needs till I get the Variax. Non of mates have taken to guitar so hard to jam with them, Wouldn't feel confident enough in my abilities atm to jam with other people. But I know it would bring me on leaps and bounds. Thanks again.

Great to hear thanks Matt I'm just a bedroom player, will be ordering the JTV soon, but I'm also thinking of replacing my Amplifi with a Firehawk Fx to get the Variax integration.

Yeah there's plenty of stock when buying online, but like you said not any in the shops. Yeah there should plenty of strat necks about, I was getting mixed up thinking it needed a special neck. Mis- read your post about the strat neck being a straight fit. I usually take reviews with a pinch of salt, but it's always hard to ignore them when your parting with your hard earned cash. Thanks again for your reply been very helpful. Going to a few shops tomorrow and hopefully they're have one in or something very similar to get an idea of the feel.

Thanks,cruisinon That's the problem, there's no shops near me stock the JTV69 to try out. So it would have to be a blind buy off the Web. There's so many mixed reviews it's frustrating. I certainly know what you mean about the head stock tho, way way to much graphics in there. I don't know where I'd get a replacement neck from here in the UK.

I'm still undecided wheather to go for the JTV69S ( I like the maple neck ) or the Variax standard? Can't really try any atm with out having to travel further a field. I hear the JTV is better, then some people prefer the standard. Would really like the pros and cons of both.

Ok thanks dalto, I already have a Mkii Express pedal, but can only switch between 4 presets and not switch banks and also thinking about purchasing a Variax,and these play together well with the Firehawk I believe? So I suppose that's a big plus. Now wheather that's worth the extra money I don't know. I do like my Amplifi most of the time, but sometimes find some of the sounds a little off. Now if the HD models on the FH are a step up that would be another plus for sure. Was also going to play the Firehawk through some monitor speakers hoping for better sound. I'll havery a think for a while, thanks for your reply.

I just think that if I was lucky enough to own several brand guitars I probably wouldn't play them all and have a favourite. So it might be a waste of money and space, bit having the Variax might get me somewhere near having them all in one? Yes I know it wouldn't be the same as owning the real thing.But with my limited playing ability,might just be all I need?

Only just started to read about the JTVs and I'm considering maybe buying one, I really like the look of the 69s, but what's the s mean? And are these the latest models? Or are the standard the latest models? TIA Variax noob.

Glad you got it sorted, I have to do this once in a while, 95% of the time it connects no problem.

Try forgetting the bluetooth connection in the settings on the tablet and then reconnecting it again to the Amplifi, this usually does the trick.

Wondering whether to trade by Amplifi in for FH Fx, will the tones be any better? Anyone done the same? hoping to run it through some studio monitors too. TIA

If I want to factory reset my Amplifi 75, will I have to flash it again to the latest Firmware? I've got to many tones in my tones now twice and all muddled up, so I'm wanting to start a fresh. TIA
