I thought that too, but the FBV3 is only about £25 more here than the Mkii, and I love shinny lights.

Ok thanks, do you have to have the remote app fired up in order to access all the banks and patches on the Amplifi using the FBV3?

Apart the led lights, how you finding it?

Is there no update on the software side then to enable this. And can I ask you again how you managed to purchase the controller when they are not on sale yet?

Is this just in Europe? as someone in another post as received their's.

I could be wrong here, but is there any tones in your 'favourites'? I know that if you play a song out of your favourites it will match the tone. Well something along them lines anyway. Worth a try?

I'm not to sure to be honest, I'm relatively new to the Amplifi myself. I just know that I've come across threads on here about the same thing. I'm sure someone else with more knowledge will answer shortly. Or maybe try the search button in the meantime.

Can record now from USB to Mac etc. Was an update to allow this sometime ago.

No don't have a tube amp or pedals. Just the Amplifi. But I like your ideas with the names. How do start from a clean start on the Amplifi? Just take a tone and turn off all the effects, save then add them? Am I right in thinking there's no clean slate you can start from on the Amplifi? Have you saved any to the cloud I can try/copy? Save me alot of time and hassle ;) Again thanks.

Jdebiase Can you give me any good pointers or examples for tweaking some of the factory presets to get a better tone? I've had my Amplifi 75 a good couple of weeks now, but I wouldn't know where to start to get better tones. For example the American Clean tone sounds a little dirty to me. I'm still learning guitar but I don't want to get bogged down spending my limited time messing about with the amp when I'm not sure what I'm doing. I too love this Amp,and have got 1 or 2 user downloaded tones to match some songs very close. I'm thinking of buying the FBV 3 advanced foot controller once it's released.

End of the day I'm happy got 100 tones on my app works for ME. For the money I paid for it, I'm more than happy, makes a great bluetooth music player too. I've had 1 connectivity issue in 3 weeks and that was probably down to me. I'm only using a handful of tones at present, don't need anymore. I'm only just starting again in the guitar world, and if I ever get to a decent level I'll upgrade my gear for better stuff. For a bedroom amp it's perfect for ME. Hope you have better luck with the Fender.

Well 4 tones atm is fine for me,I mean I'll never use anymore at any given time. If I need anymore,I've got 100 to go at from my phone that takes 2 secs at most. Can swap them in/out with a press of a button at anytime no biggie for me. I've already got a smartphone so works for me. I've not had alot of connectivity issues lately at all. I do see your point tho, horses for courses and all that.

You can all ways save your 4 favourite tones to the presets on the amp itself so then you don't need the app. Just cycle through them on the amp.

I'm trying to place 4 of my tones from the remote app onto the 4 presets A B C D on the Amplifi so I don't need the remote app and can just select them on the Amplifi unit it self. But they won't save. I'm using the Android app and latest fw.This is what I've done so far, am I missing something? 1,Selected and highlighted a tone in 'my tones' 2,Pressed the 3 little squares in the top right corner of the Android app. 3,Selected saved to hardware and then chose the User slots A B C or D. This then says saved to Hardware preset A or which ever Ive choos etc and then goes green. But when I cycle through the presets the tone isn't there,any ideas or is my unit dud? TIA

What do you mean instead of their colour? What about the Amplifi 75 is that the same?
