The Leds only work with the correct colours with the Firehawk 1500 as far as I know.
-
Think I'll do the same then, bit of a pain having to plug the lead in all.the time.
-
Just wondering if you people leave your base station plugged in when not in use? I doubt it uses alot of power when not in use?
-
Just got mine today, won't get time to try it till tomorrow tho, looking forward to being wireless.
-
Mine should be with me tomorrow here in UK

Thanks to this thread I also declined the FBV 3 after reading the short comings. Went with a Express Mk 11 pedal in the end,and I'm more than happy with it for a lot less money. Ok it's not got the fancy lights etc, but does the job.

Can I presume this would work as well with the Firehawk FX?
-
Thanks Jim that's great advice. Lots of food for thought.

Yeah I thought that, it's just for further down the line when I'm hopefully better at playing the guitar. Only had my Amplifi a few months and just bought a second hand FBV mkii express pedal this week to go with it. ( read that the new FBV is missing some features atm wit the Amplifi ) I really like being able to play to a backing track through the Amplifi by bluetooth whilst playing the guitar through it at the same time. I suppose I'd miss that with a FRFR speaker? Just wanted to see my options when the time comes to upgrade. So looking like the FH and a FRFR speaker then would be the best option for me. Thanks very much for your reply.

Would I still be able to stream bluetooth music through the Firehawk to the Amplifi and still have the 5 speakers of the Amplifi working? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Is the FBV 3 compatible with Amplifi 30
Gkf9 replied to ak4ray's topic in FBV Controllers (MKI / MKII / 3)
Totally unacceptable IMO! Glad I passed now, was ready to fire my order off until I read about the light's situation. Now bought the plain and simple mkii express pedal for now. -
Well this is definitely off my radar at the moment. I'm just going to buy the Express pedal to change the 4 presets on my Amplifi, I don't use that many different effects so this will do me. And I can swap them out with the App within 20 seconds. Real shame about the FBV 3 had high hopes for it.

Well I'm still learning guitar,so maybe the fbv is over kill for me? Hoping one day my guitar playing might warrant me buying some better gear anyway.
-
How the hell does it work on the FH1500 but not the Amplifi? Think I'll buy the MK2 Express pedal instead now. Not paying top dollar for something that's half working on my amp.

Are the light's sorted now?

FBV 3 won't change LED colour
Gkf9 replied to luzifer328's topic in FBV Controllers (MKI / MKII / 3)
Post about it here. Currently only working with FH1500. http://line6.com/support/topic/20363-got-the-new-fbv-3-to-go-with-my-amplifi-150/ -
FBV 3 won't change LED colour
Gkf9 replied to luzifer328's topic in FBV Controllers (MKI / MKII / 3)
I've not got the FBV 3 pedal, but what I've read and heard the light colour changes only work with the FH1500 at present. Wheather a software update is on the cards from line 6 to fix this I don't know? -
I usually turn the Amp on,then open the app on my tablet and it connects after a short while. If I ever get any connection issues,I usually unpair the amp on my tablet and then pair again. All is good then.
-
I've got an Amplifi 75 pierremoatti. I've decided I'm going to buy the FBV3.
-
Ok thanks for looking, can the patch names be displayed on the screen, (if kept short )?
-
That's a shame, even the the Express pedal has one.
-
Does it have a loop function?
-
Well it's not available here yet, so will probably get a good idea by then if it's for me or not? Really can't understand why the lights won't work with the Amplifi?
-
Yeah think you might be right. Might even go for the Express M11 for now, Really need something to change presets.
-
I just like have the newest product if possible, future proof and all that. But if the light's aren't working properly with the Amplifi, may as well buy the MK2
