  1. The firewhawk 1500 doesnt repond to any of these Midi CC#'s shown in the manual - I suspect they only work when the FBV3 or other line 6 pedalboard is connected to the FBV connector and not via the standard Midi connector..
  2. I've been trying to get this to work too, without any success. The firehawk 1500 will receive program change messages and im able to select patches via midi, but nothing else. In the "pilots guide" manual for the Firehawk 1500 there is a list of Midi CC#'s that the unit is surposed to respond to for FS1-5, EXP-1, EXP-2, looper controls etc, but none of them appear to work. I suspect that these only work when you have an FBV3 (or other Line6) foot controller connected to the FBV coinnctor and not via the standard Midi in connector which seems a little limited as far as Midi control is concerned The other issue with controlling FS1 - 5 via midi is that without the FBV3 footswitch connected the option use these footswitches doesnt appear in the iOS/Android Remote App, so you cam't assign them to anything to use them anyway even if you could switch them on/off via Midi ! Line 6 - Please add the ability to use these Midi CC#'s via the standard Midi interface for those of us that don't have the FBV3 or want to control these functions from a seperate Midi controller.. This can't be a very difficult thing to do in a future update surely as functionality is already there!
  3. Yes, I get this issue too! Once i have searched for a artist/song etc and got a list of tones, searching for something else doesnt find anything and the list of tones from the previous search remains. Quitting the app completely and starting again is the only way ive been able to search for something else - This is a bug in the iOS firehawk remote app for sure! Rich
  4. Im not sure if the FH1500 can do this already (I suspect not, but would be pretty cool if it could!) .. Does the USB connection (via ASIO) provide just stereo left/right channels for recording into a DAW etc? Would be pretty cool if it had 4 channels - left (wet), right (wet), center (dry), and raw guitar signal (to use for reamping etc) Also, would be cool to have left/center/right channels available as outputs via ASIO too, so that it would be possible to play back seperate tracks in a DAW to these outputs to get the the wet/dry/wet output from the amp. If it had the guitar input available as an ASIO channel too, you could send recorded raw guitar back to it change effects etc on the fly ;-) Not sure if this is possible, just an idea - but would be great if it was! 5. I mostly play and record guitar using ipad and PC modelling apps such as Bias FX, running the output through my studio monitors, which actually sounds very good! Havn't played live for a few years now so i dont actually own a guitar amp anymore, but i'm hoping to get back into it and looking to be playing at rehersal at live gigs more soon, so was thinking the Firehawk 1500 might be ideal for my needs. The other thing that attracted me about it was the Wet/Dry/Wet configuration, which i thought might give me a better / more interesting tone whilst practicing etc..as well as live ;-). So... I had a chance to try out a Firehawk 1500 at a local guitar store at the weekend and to be honest i was a little disappointed, but it might have been something that i diddnt have set correctly on the amp. I expected to be able to tell that it was wet/dry/wet, but it didn't even sound like it was stereo to me! - I tried setting up some modulation effects - chrous, flanger etc set pretty wide but the output from the amp still just sounded like mono .. I know it's just one box but i did expect to be able to hear some seperation of the left/centre/right channels. Reading this post though, i thinking maybe it was set to mono! I didn't see the options for Speaker modes in the app - where abouts is this option, is it only in the menus on the amp itself ? I like to know if it sounds obviously stereo when set to stereo? If so then i might have to back and have another listen! Thanks Rich
