I did the update when it came out. Yes the restore process was followed. I did add however an external expression pedal that is considered 2. The thing is I even went back to my older presets and now they no longer work the volume pedal either. In global it says exp2 is set to IN. The wah still works and is assigned to exp2. The volume pedal set to exp 1 is not working. I've rebooted device, removed exp2 and rebooted. I've reconnected USB etc but no movement is being done. Not sure if Exp1 onboard is done OR if the update caused this but happened after the update. DAW doesnt matter as this is simply USB and HelixLite w Helix Edit. The PC is Win11. USB works or the edit program wouldn't work. And since I was looking for a reason on forums, that is why responded to old post.

When I NOW go to my Helix presets, if I select Volume pedal is shows Assigned EXP Pedal 1 and its assigned to Postion/Controller Exp Pedal 1 and shows the min/max nothing else assigned to EXP Pedal 1 and it no longer moves volume up and down. Also when I have edit open or not the Helix Lt it changes my view to 04A, 04B etc rather than layout view. This began with 3.8 update and I have even reset the device.

I dont know about the impedance statement being totally correct. I use like 6 drive pedals including two fuzz in front of Helix and the sound does change when changing impedance no matter if clinically correct. I do however now use almost always on Fjord Fuzz Loke for the tape like drive now. Wonderful tool.

I do agree with R J Ronquillo that pics are needed with knobs to look the part on computer screen especially or have the ability to switch global view from old to new with pics. Otherwise the Helix is awesome.

Also for whatever reason the Template "two Tones A+B" when used for me the volume assign doesnt work for main pedal on Lite. I copy the template to presets User area and still no but the Pete Thorn preset does work

Oddly, and I thought this was new cheaper guitar causing this (the pickups) but when I have Helix off sometimes at night and cut on, sound is darker, making pickups sound muffled, when switch preset is fine, when go back to last preset booted to is fine. I dont get this. But when I cut unit off again and went back to same preset was fine.

2 pole-4 pole filter along with widening, left right shift for tone(panning) and midside settings. 4 pole and drive can be really nice together with this shifting used

The Dual Cabs are panned or centered, can be delayed in millisconds

a preset that was modified from a Line6 one saved to User 5 area 1B kept resetting to New Preset name, parameters were there and was only called Jmp45

Personally went smooth as silk, probably an off hour helped. I am SO SO ECSTATIC with the release. Sounds fabulous. Might not even need added IRs now! Keep up great work Line6! Note: did have bug saving a preset that was Default one from Factory 1 modified to User Area 5 1B, kept reverting later to New Preset rather than name

Less latency on pitch shifting

For me, not being a great guitar player but have played for years, I dont play other people music at all. I create to enjoy, so whatever the enjoyment it poses in this world is good.

I also use Liquidsonics on PC, point is, having onboard saves processor of computer when available. I mean I have Source Audio Ventris too. Doesn't keep me from wanting IR loader for Reverb. There might be particular ones we want onboard.

Would like to have Reverb IR loader with at least mix, EQ high-low rolloff

Would like capacity for more IRs to be loaded

The Helix Edit will not show FULL names when highlighting the dots to be sure of the actual IR. Would like this fixed so can tell last notes on the setting such as will say cap-edge but not enough character for the 2 inch etc

I guess it was best I posted this here first....yeah wasnt sure if do-able but would suffice many players for the reverb they want, not all of em but some. Cabs and reverb IRs would have people able to dump onto system ones they want and go. I play only into PC and use Reverberatex64 v2 many times for my reverb on a Reaper DAW track/.

Like the CabIR loader can we get a Reverb IR loader with some paramaters for mix, high cut, etc. This would allow us to import reverbs from all over the world

Oh I get the fact that presets can suck and ear of the beholder thing. BUT my point is, the amps sound great, CabIRs are OK. Better ones have been made since. I get many wouldnt want those IRs upgraded on older presets. BUT AGAIN, this thing can be made sound fantastic, just feel sorry for a new user trying out in a (store lol) and doesnt get it.
