  1. Question, do you want to bend the note in a intervall time frame or just want to go from one note to another quickly by pressing the foot switch? If you dont want to bend you can use the poly capo as it will go up or down on the semitones you are setting in the effect
  2. It is not possible to use a magnetic pickup for individual strings. At least I don't know any that can do that
  3. When creating patches, the best practice is to made it at loud levels (+80db) then you will know that they will be suitable with a band
  4. Well, just to post my experience. Using native with gig performer as a host, it tales maybe 1 and half second to open the gui of native, maybe closing it as a little faster. My laptop has a i5 gen 10 u series so is not particularly powerful but works fine. But i can relate that native has become more and more buggy, and i think (just my opinion) that there are bugs that only happens in Macs while there are others happening in windows. For example the midi crashing native on the vst 3 version still happens to me even on the latest version. Vst does not have that issue when i use the FBV MKII to change patches. So, probably the solution will be to wait untile line 6 fix this or maybe with any upcoming helix mkii if it happens any time soon
  5. Is this issue solved? I have used all automation knobs and switches and i can go beyond midi cc 52
  6. I bought the Fbv mkII , not that hard to disassemble. What do you want to repair?
  7. Dear colleagues Could anyone based on your experience, recommend an optimized windows laptop/tablet for running native with a "standard" audio interface? Let say a focusrite scarlet or similar. I have read a lot about the importance either in processing power and driver optimization of the laptop and audio interface, but i would like to know in case some one is using a laptop without any clicks and pops in the audio streaming. And how low can you go in the buffer size for such cases. Thank you!

Min 4.27. For low pitch shifts change auto eq higher than 7 For hight pitch lower than 5. Do your tests and share your results!
  9. Thanks for sharing. But you said that the acoustic sim pedal is temperamental depending the guitar. But what is the EQ any different? Thx
  10. Thank you so much. Maybe i was confused after readying the latest 3.60 update, specially the gramattico release notes. It says "on the real amp is says "Volume." So i really hope that it is also a gain parameter there despite how is called in the real gramattico amp :)
  11. Dear community. I would like to ask some tips and trips regarding how to properly handle a gain control in helix native. First of all i have checked some(but not all) virtual amps and I have noticed there is no gain parameter in the amps, so i guess i need to add a block near to the begging of the chain. My question is, what would be the right order assuming i have a pitch shift and then a wah wah first. I would say its better to add it after the wah, but my goal is not no add an big amount of sustain but just some amount,(we have the poly sustain for that) as i never added such gain in my chain, i am finding my notes fading quickly even after adding some distortion. Any additional tip is highly appreciated Thanks
  12. This is a question that should be posted on gig performer forum instead https://community.gigperformer.com/latest But linking midi to plugins is a 2 step way in the software. I am using version for and im not familiarized with v 3.8. if it is the same, you should assing a midi value on native( it could be automation thing like a position knob within the plugin or a midi value) then you must create a widget on a rackspace variation in gp,( a knob or even better a pedal ) then use the midi learn (in the option of that widget you just created) and asigne it to the plugin/value that you set ln native. Sounds as many steps but the thing is, you will have in the front as many parameters you want to control from the plugins on the background. I usually Create only the widgets that i want to control, because if there are not created, their values will remain the same between variations Hope is clear
  13. Could you share some audio examples of that drop tunnings? I would like to benchmark mine. Thanks!
  14. By the way, the single cab box used there in my screen shot is a new 3.5 dual cab. Meaning i only need one block. That is what jason did and explained in the video as well, he panned one to the left and one to the right
  15. Thank you for the detailed explanation. I will carefully follow your instructions as written and report the results. But i tink that merge thing is the one that mess the ping pong result i am looking for. Anyway, i will do the test and find it out cheers
  16. Dear colleagues. Let me retake this topic an ask something related to the stereo sound in helix native. For me, there are some differences between the workflow of Hx hardware devices and the plugin version when we mix the signals.in the end of the chain. I was trying to follow the video of jeson sadites about how to properly set a stereo chain (https://youtu.be/3eTfhs8J5IU). I notices that he is using a dual amp wich actually is something that o would like to try (as far as i remember SRV was using 2 different heads to get that sound he is known for) But the problem here is, his chain return to the original path while he is using a split Y divider, and if i replicate that on native there is no way i can get the desired ping pong effect, the only solution I found while doing try and error, was to move the merge dot down to return it to the host (I asume that helix HW has the left/right mix in the end of the chain as shown in the video) , but then a question came to my mind, what happens with the cab? It should be somehow connected to the amp on the bottom but apparently it works like this and is weird. As mentioned before, the path lines are treated as stereo, but doing this, looks like it becomes a dry/wet signal to me, even when (to my ears) it sounds stereo. please find attachments thanks
  17. OK, so maybe you just need to set it up with the plugins you want to use and find if the DAW/plugins detect the Catalyst as an audio device. You havent explained what computer you use, but i would say is feasible, just take a look to the audio routing as i explained before and you are ready to go
  18. Hi Well, I am sure you can connect the Catalyst as an audio interface to the computer (i dont have a catalyst) if you are using windows, you need the ASIO driver for the Catalyst. But you will have to take a look to the manual or ask about how to "route" the usb audio. I am using the new NUX mighty space which is a 30w Amp with an audio interface function. Why i do with this amp is to set (in the amp app) the usb audio as Dry out signal, then mute the built in the FX of the amp to avoid to things, first, the draw signal for usb will not pass through the built in FX of the amp and then to be handle to the computer (even when they are turn off, it will add some latency which according to the manufacturer is aroun 1.5 ms) and second, the built in fx will not affect the USB audio coming from the computer as well. My amp is stereo, so everything that i set on Line 6 HX Native, can be set as stereo as well. It will depend of your needs. Let me know if this clarifies the scenarios you need
  19. There has been many similar issues reported here. Troubleshooting should be: Make sure you hare using the default string gauge (.010 to .046) Make sure the piezoelectric pickups are clean and making good contact with the string. Make a video with detailing the issue of tha failing string and share it if possible here If the issue is with the pickup, you need to claim the warranty
  20. Thanks for the detailed explanation!
  21. Hi ho. Can anyone clarify if am right? Modeller+ DI = connection to Front of house Modeller+ power amp = connection to cab or 4 cable method to combo amp or direct connection to a cab and then (if required) to front of house via microphone They way theElevators posted would be the 2nd option i posted if i am correct. Thanks
  22. This issue is probably due to the fact that pixels 7s are supporting apps developed for 64 bits only. If spider V are not considered legacy products, line 6 should upgrade the app soon
  23. Has resuelto tu problema? Que amplificador tienes? Yo solo lo uso para control efectos en la computadora pero si das mas informaciĆ³n tal vez te pueda ayudar
  24. I think i just found the answer on the pilot guide. Sorry for not reading
